Just what the C's need - another 3 pt. shooter. I mean, Ray Allen and the newly-signed Eddie House aren't enough. Paul Pierce, Allen and Miller splitting time at the 2/3 would be the worst defensive combination imaginable.

Why not sign Glen Rice and Dell Curry too?

The guy the C's should be pursuing is Sarunas Jasikevicius. A real head coach would also be nice.

Oakley has said he wants to come back. They'll probably add two out of the three:

Oakley, Pippen, Miller.

Maybe Ainge will take on the GM/player role and Doc can assume the HC/player role.

Easy to bash Danny Boy, as he is taking a chance. I guess the bash free approach would be to run your team into the ground like McHale, Bird and Zeke. Anything could help this franchise get going again, except that approach. That has not worked, so why not try this? Is there hope in this once great NBA town, where there has been none since Len Bias checked out? Are they selling tickets? Did the fans forget about the tanking that got a 5th choice? I am hoping this all works out because as of now the NBA is reeling under bad stories.
