I know if I was the greatest coach ever, win year in year out, then buss comes at you with a proposed 60% pay cut??? that's like a slap in the face. if I was Phil I would tank this series on purpose. why would I wanna reward a franchise that's severly taking me for granted

I can't see Phil 'wanting' to lose as it would be a feeling he's never had before in his life. I dunno, everyone is on the Lakers with good right; however, I just can't see the Suns flopping too easily tonight.

I just sorta wonder how much the refs will influence the game. It seemed like games 1 and 2 Phoenix wasn't getting the BIG/Important calls. Just looking at fouls and Phoenix had 2 and 3 more than LA in games 1 and 2 respectively. Games 3 and 4 it was the other way around with LA having 7 and 11 more fouls in each game respectively.

In Boston/Orlando it seems like neither team is getting a huge advantage for important calls but the refs are influencing the Over/Under to a great degree.... such as last night. They gave out at least a half dozen technicals as well, wtf for??

All in all I think the home advantage is screaming loud and clear in LA/Phx so far and when will it stop?

On a side note a few days ago it looked like we were going to have a 4-0 blowout and ~ 4-1 massacre... who would have thought?

This line, to me just screams blowout though. Majority is on PHX cause look at what theve done in the last 2 games. The difference in calls between the suns and lakers has been a huge advantage for the suns, i believe that Amare had 11 Ft attemps in the 1q of game 3?

That's why you shouldn't look at stats. Why do you think LA got to the line less in PHX and PHX got more calls. The answer is very simple.

Yeah stats have nothing to do with a game

And if you're implying that the lakers shot jumpshots all of game 3 that's not true. The suns didn't play zone until the very end of the 1st half of game 3 and even though the lakers were going inside, the foul count was still ridiculously in Phx's favor. Amare couldn't even look at the rim without the refs calling a foul.

I think LA 1q is a solid bet Shari as it's again a higher line than the other quarters. In terms of the overall game I expect a double digit Lakers win, but you may be smart to just make a 2hf bet.

man you were spot on with Lakers being able to contain Amare when he isos on the elbow- and that Nash creates Amare's points, and that "you'll put any amount of points that LA wins at least 1 in PHX", just tailing what LakerBoy said and I made you eat your words for arguing with me. If you think it's going to be LA blowout then Over is the play. If Phoenix has a chance I can only see Under as I doubt they'll beat them 115-110 or something like that... who knows tho, this is the type of game where ANYTHING could truly happen.

It wouldn't surprise me if LA wins by 30 or Phoenix wins by 30.
