Sparks -7, Sparks -3.5 1st half, O/U 169... Line jumped a point and O/U down 0.5 point. The line jumped a whole point even though only 50% of the public is on LA.

Dream and Fever O/U has been going up like crazy. Line opened at 147 and is already at 151 (5dimes). The last 4 games b/w these 2 teams have gone over by a good amount, seems like a chicken dinner. I see this game ending in the 140-145 range. I think the under at this number 151 and Sparks 1st half -3.5 are very strong plays.

Thanks! Connecticut will get up for Detroit today. It is obvious that they got caught with their bras down and looking forward to facing the champs.

The moneyline is off on that game. Ordinarily 3 points in basketball will have a corresponding moneyline of -155/+135. The line for this game is -150/+130, which is a "soft" 3 points.

The line for the Sparks has gone up to 6.5 now, but the totals line has stayed stiff for us dspite the public being all over the over. The moneyline is correct for a 6.5 line (-300/+250). But I just can't place my money on a team that has a star player returning from a long hiatus) The total on that one still seems like the way to go.

Atlanta's line went up to +9 as they prepare to face the Fevers. The totals line is creeping backup now and it is at 150.5. up from the 147 it had dippd to for a brief minute.

Good. I have seen all that I need to see from the line movement on that game. With everyone on the over like they are, I am surprised that it took this long for the line to go up. I thought for a minute there that the linemaker was ignoring public money altogether. Hopefully it will go up some more prior to gametime. We have all the way up to 6:30pm pst!

I just can't bring myself to fade a team that is 2-6 and at home off of a loss. Connecticut looks like a good pick on paper, but I am firm on my stance of not betting sides in Detroit's games this year. And to be honest, I don't feel comfy taking either side in the Atlanta/Fever matchup even with the lopsided consensus

Now wait a minute, Phoenix isn't a scrub team now. Giving them 4 points in the first half is insane, especially since this is their first game on this road trip and these teams are rivals. 4 points is an entire game spread (and incidently, that's what I capped this game out to for the entire game) LA's line is getting inflated due to the public loving Candace Parker's return. Now if I can get a team like Phoenix+8...by simply buying a hook, I will take that to the f*ckin bank. Too many issues here, Phoenix has a bad road record, and LA has a sterlinghome record with a blowout victory in their last game at home. And now you're gonna do a Jameer Nelson and insert Parker back into the lineup? Oh no....I capped this game out to a win by LA of no more than 4. And now that I know the public is lining up on the LA side, I am going the other way on this one. The public is sniffing chicken dinners. The Sparks timing will be out of kilter and they will fall behind BIG

Parker won't have such a huge impact in her first game back. She's still a bit overweight from giving birth and from the practice footage I can't see her playing more than 15 minutes. Good luck with your trends.
