The 1st play showed support of line movement; so does this one. Last night I looked over a total, and when I woke up, it rose four points! Pretty big within a 6-7 hour time. I'm talking the Atl/Bos game. I'm pointing these out, as I'm just sharing. Read these carefully.

Over is 7-1 Since Mar 25 2013 when Atl previous game they scored 100+pts, with their next two games on the road. 5-1 this season. 15-4 since Apr 06 2012.
Over is 9-2 This season when Atl scored 100+pts in their last game and lost
Over is 30-16 This season when their opp lost their previous game by 10+pts (5-0 L5)
Atl is 1-7-1 ATS This season when their opp lost their previous game by 10+pts

A surprising play; one I may lay some coin on. Lakers +11.5, hopefully 12 by the closing line. The underline trends are what make me consider this bet highly. Read carefully.

Lak 6-1-1 ATS L8 scerarios (Feb 2009) when playing a team on 3 days rest that lost their last game
Grizz 4-11 ATS This season when coming off an away game, playing at home
Grizz 5-13 ATS This season when playing at home and their opp previously scored 95+pts. 1-4 ATS L5. Over 11-7; 6-2 L8

But I think this game goes over no problem. Trends below: Read carefully.

really good stuff. i think some trends you look for really make a lots of sense. I just have something to add. If you see my posts a few posts back, i feel that trends should go back X number of seasons to be meaningful, because situations shouldn't change. The only caveat i did not put, was for individual team trends. For these, instead i feel that it should be looked at for the season only, and not many seasons back, reasoning being your teams change over the seasons.

Play on Fav of 9.5 to 3.5
Good offense averaging 102 or more points on the season
Playing against a sub par defense giving up between 102 and 98 a game on the season
After 42 or more games played
After a combined score of 205 or more, four straight games.

This one easily cashed yesterday on the Houston/Clippers Under, which was simple for anyone to call with that ridiculous 220 total they had on it, but still:

P:FL and 75>=WP>=60 and 75>=o:WP>=60 and total>=200 and o:rest>0

Premise behind it is when there's a revenge situation between two good teams in which the favorite lost the first match up, and the team that won the first contest is rested for the rematch, bet the under if the total is set to 200 or above. Has been particularly strong since 2003.

For those that use the system a lot, do you just input hunches? Patterns you think you see? Random attempts based on the day's matchups?

JMon - are those the kinds of situations that "pro" cappers are referring to when they talk about "situation X with team A is UNDEFEATED since 1995"? Any "perfect" filter certainly makes my betting brain go "YES!", but then my rational side will say "dude, you can ALWAYS find the pattern you want if you look deep enough in the data"...

well that original query was without the home filter and that's how I got it saved in my personal database. However, when I have a situation come active I always like to see how "home and away" "conferences" etc......or the set line or total for the day (compared to the situation's average line and total), thus I look for any outliers. Too my amazement, I found the Home perfect situation for tonight game when checkin for such. Again, never blindly use any particular sdql for a bet.

Gotcha. I definitely never bet without checking other mitigating factors - injuries, officials (there's a few I'm REALLY leery of), other completely crazy trends that might override a situation...
