the kid, i'm not disagreeing with you, but in reference to that, if you remember, the backups played a hell of a game. they shoulda got blown off the map, but i think it was only an 8 point loss, and at one point pretty deep into the fourth quarter it was a three point game.

i think pop knew what he was doing. i think he knew it wasn't worth killing his stars at the slim chances that they would get the w, and in the process he made everyone else that much more confident, to go into denver and compete all by themselves with no one but themselves to rely upon. look at what michael bonner did in the next game against the celtics.

i agree, i hope he doesn't do it again, but i think when he did it, it was a fantastic move.

Yes sir boys and girls, shame on you guys for doubting Toronto at halftime. I had them winning by 9 at 98-89, didn't think they would score as many points as they did but we got the win. I had a great day today, liked alot of first quarters and totals and with the hockey plays I went a total of 13-6 today.

You're right, tex. I actually did watch that game and the reserves did play very well without their big guns. You do have a great point that it gave everyone else a lot more confidence and I think that will serve them well in the 2nd half of the season.
