Yeah, I hear ya, but I was trying to be optimistic. I'll most likely grab it now anyway. 77.5 is without a reachable total with these teams, but I just can't wrap my head around the over. Therefore, I have to go under.

nevada vs maryland-

nevada has one of the best offenses in the nation (5th best in total yards), and now maryland has lost their defensive coordinator to take a job at kstate. maryland has stumbled into this bowl game losing 2 in a row su, while nevada has won 3 of 4 su. i dont mention ats numbers here since nevada essentially just needs to win. maryland does not play well on the road (1-4 su and ats) and is 0-2 on turf. now they have to travel cross country and deal with this offense on a surface that will favor the speed of nevada.

For what it's worth I like:
Maryland +3 I actually think they beat Nevada.....I'm going to take them on the ML and also on a teaser +9
Rice -2 1/2 (buying 1/2 pt) They should beat W Mich by a minimum of 7. -2 1/2 is very safe imo. I kind of like the UNDER in this also, I believe its around 74, 75....Rice can score a lot.....But can W Michigan keep up
Oklahoma State -2 1/2 (buying 1/2 pt) I just think they are the better team here. With a much more potent offense than Oregon. This game will really come down to who wants it more though....If all things are equal though....I think the definite edge has to go to Oklahoma State.

yeah, but maryland is no stout defense vs the run (73rd in the nation) - while nevada scores 40ppg, they do it on the ground. the cross country trip for maryland is what im hanging my hat on a little more. great info though...

Why is Vermont favored here I live 5 minutes from the UVM campus....
While Vermont is good in the American East Conference......They don't play well against bigger schools.
Except there famous upset of Syracuse 5 or so years ago.... But that was when they had TJ Sorrentine, and Taylor Coppenrath. They have Marcus Blakely now.....But not much else.

I will still take the Suns without Shaq and Nash. Hell with both of them in the lineup the Suns have gone 1-5 ats in their last 6 games anyway, so their deletion from the lineup is a plus and it will help them get the cover, when they are perceived to be weakened.

I would take what the Suns have left over without those two with no problems over the Grizzlies playing a back end game and also having played two straight overtime games, one a double overtime game. No rest for the weary. The Suns get the job done with the short number. Of course I can get to the lower key number by buying a point and making my line Phoenix-2, which is more than ideal for this situation.

I still have not seen a report that Roy is out for Portland, so I had to get my play in now as I don't think that the Green Machine would let up off the gas for any team that intact or not. Makes no difference. They put the defensive clamps on teams and they are just one of the deepest teams in the NBA, so injuries on their squad doesn't mean anything. They just keep on plowing along.

I love what's happening in the Indiana consensus. 86% of the public is on the Hawks and the line has not budged from Indiana-1. I'm gonna smoke and wait it out until the very end. I am hoping that Indiana would end up being a 1 or 1.5 point underdog, then I could get them at +2.5 or something. But if the line stays where it is, I would take them -1 too. They almost beat the Hornets in their last home game. This time they kick the door in.

I am also waiting on the Phoenix game to drop back to 2.5. But I wait no longer than noon, as i will be out and about today, and i don't want to come back in later on and find that the line went back to 4 or something.

Yeah, my bad Dexter. Well I just had to get that out there. Can't leave CK hanging. Anyways, I liked the Kings last night and the line already moved to -3. If Martin decides to come back, I don't know if that play is good anymore because as CK says, there will be minute mixing. I don't know how the offense will run with him in there either.
