unlike the Lakers.. The Heat do not b•tch about injuries..
they just go out and win.

Lebron makes them all better, and in his absence.. the continue working, they continue the homework. …they move the ball, they share.. work as a team.. nobody trying to score the most.... which always leaves a guy open for a nice look from beyond the arc. (the top 4 min shots taken are ALL within four shots or one another..) It is not uncommon for Kobe to take 4X more shots than the Center (Howard)

Lakers and their spoiled-rotten fans.. always have a quick excuse when losing to a sub .400 team (at the Staples Center)

Laker Fans: "well... whaddya expect?!!? we only have HALF a team!!"

the Heat did not even talk about it. "3 starters out?... So what? Let's win this"

Ditto for Popovich's teams.. when they have guys out, they don't even talk about it. They just go out.

Unlike the Heat, the Lakers actually do have injured players.

LOL...Uncommon? It is damn near routine for Kobe to take more shots than Dwight...Bill Russell has talked at length about the cardinal rule in basketball when you are playing with a big man of his caliber...and that is you keep him fed...he eats first...no ifs or buts about it...

From time to time out of curiosity, I will venture back in time and take a look at the field goal totals between Shaq and Kobe...during the Phil Jackson era...and would you believe...Shaq almost always had more attempts than Kobe.....But since Dwight's arrival...i challenge anyone on this board to find more than 1 game where Kobe took less shots than Dwight...it may have happened when Kobe was out but even that might be wishful thinking...lolol...

They had better beat Dallas at home tomorrow night or Stern will have to force the Grizzlies to stand down...so they can at least go 500 down the stretch...

great post Menses, i should have thought to do that myself, (look up FG attempts Shaq/Kobe) excellent observation.

it is absurd that Kobe continually denies Howard his food, and the team/fans pay.. while he pads his stats, i do not how see how he will be regarded as a great team player..

Kobe belongs on a playground, playing 1-on-1, he was made for that game, no one to pass to. Terrible team player.

Dallsd game tomorrow should be good, i like the Dirk hockey beard... go Mavs*

i absolutely love it that you think this.. it only proves my point further.
this would be the equivalent of me not being able to mentally assimilate and digest the notion that more than one individual
feel that Kobe is infallible, and insisting that you a) Upscope, b) William Walters, and C) Riffraff are all the same individual.

i Assure you, that the position of kobe shooting wayyyyy too much does not require shills or ghost accounts.

                          EVERYBODY*knows it except Kobe nut-huggers:

                          1) WHY did Dwight NOT want to come to LA?
                          2) Why will Dwight NOT resign in LA?
                          3) Why did Ramon sessions leave when offered more money in LA?
                          4) Why did Phil Jackson call Kobe 'the only uncoachable player i ever met?" (his book)
                          5) Why did Chris paul publicly state that he was glad he went to the clippers instead of the Lakers?
                          6) Why will the Lakers miss the playoffs this season?

it is all the same reason, no ball-movement, just a man chasing personal distinction/records.

                          KOBE"S mind:
                          1) Kobe first, 2) fans second, and 3) team third.*

i think his manager pressured him into that, his face when he announced it was consistent with someone doing something against his will..

i think no way he resigns,, he never sees ball, a little , but he is basically starving in LA

oh, and btw. you are the third person in the 'ratzz ghost accounts"

Upscope and Riffraff have determined that , you, Menses and i are the same individual. (smh)

and (William walters has been quiet since i wrote about Riffs psychological hangups/disturbing attacks on women.
i pointed out his behavior as well, and i guess it hit home.)*

doesnt make any sense at all
to say no to free agency and lock himself back in to a team he didnt want to return to ................

lets say this, if howard walks away, the lakers would be losers of the trade in place of the sixers
the sixers at least will have cap space, the lakers on the hand are screwed

                                        1) i guess maybe if 'rape' is considered a 'win' in the person's mind... or if he equates "rape" with losing a "big game".. SMH

                                        2) Kobe WAS charged for raping a 19-yr old girl.*

it is absurd that Kobe continually denies Howard his food, and the team/fans pay.. while he pads his stats, i do not how see how he will be regarded as a great team player..

Kobe belongs on a playground, playing 1-on-1, he was made for that game, no one to pass to. Terrible team player.

I am not a huge Kobe fan at all, but I think even Kobe knows that Dwight is about as useless as they come. Watching Dwight play is brutal. He was a star in Orlando, but that is only because somebody had to be a star there. How hard is it to defend Dwight? All you have to do is make sure you foul him hard enough to not have a chance at a three point play. I wouldn't blame the Lakers woes all on Kobe. He is still the only player on that team still worth a damn.

Whats crazy is Lakers fans are so delusional like the city itself. Laker fans wanted Mike Brown gone, they wanted Howard, CP3, etc.. They got most of what they wanted and they still lose and still make excuses.

Dwight Howard isn't getting the ball u say?

Well let's use basic math to show that once again Rat boy is clueless & simply reaching because of his hatred for Kobe:
Dwight Howard last season & for basically throughout his career was the #1 option while playing with Mo, Larry & Curly. He averaged 11.2 shots while playing 36 min/gm
This season he's clearly not the #1 option & never was going to be under any circumstances. He's no longer playing with Mo, Larry & Curly & instead playing with HOF's Kobe, Pau & Nash. He's averaging 10.6 shots while playing 35.3 min/game.

He's playing nearly a full minute less & averaging .6 less shot attempts. He's obviously playing @ less than 100% to boot & playing with far superior options than he had in Orlando too. Obviously when you're playing w/ HOF's rather than the 3 stooges you sacrifice touches. In this case .6
you're crying over .6 shot attempts in nearly a minute less playing time while playing injured & playing w/ 3 HOF's
Basically his touches appear to be right in line with where the numbers & situation suggest they should be.

His last yr in Orl his numbers were right on par almost identical to his career per minute numbers.

His last yr in Orl his numbers were right on par almost identical to his career per minute numbers.
we arent even talking about the same thing but i will respond to ur statements
i can also play the same number game with kobe:

kobe playing with 2 future HOF'ers takes more shots compared to his career average.
20.4 shots this year ..... 19.6 averaged in his career.

during parts of the season, hes taken the ball from nash's hands
and relegated him to a spot up shooter
nash is also below his average career shot attempt of 10.6 to 9.5 this year

gasol is even worse. career average of 13.4 but only 11.3 this year

so kobe + 2 hof players, increases his shot attempt while lower his 3 teammates

This season he's averaging all of .6 less shot attempts than he has throughout his career. And that's playing fewer minutes, playing @ less than 100% & playing w/ 3 HOF's rather than 3 stooges.

He never see's the ball in the 4th Q because he is a liability @ the free throw line & teams routinely play hack a Howard. Do u not understand this basic fundamental strategy of keeping the ball out of 47% ft shooters late in games?? Late in games teams go to their #1 options they don't go to 47% ft shooters. Kobe bryant is the Lakers #1 option NOT Dwight Howard. It's a simple concept, figure it out.

Of course Steve Nash is below his career shot attempts (10.6/9.5) he's 39 & far from his prime when he took more shots. He's actually averaging more shot attempts & ppg this year than he did last yr eventhough @ 39 & a yr older a regression was likely to occur.

Gasol has regressed for three yrs now & has struggled w/ injuries. He was also coming off the bench for a while & has played 3 min less per game than his career avg & 5 min less per game than last yr. When Howard was brought over everybody knew Gasols numbers were likely to take a hit.

Howard is playing less minutes, playing @ less than 100% & playing w/ far superior talent & despite all this per minute averages this yr are only slightly less than his career per minute averages.

Kobe has had very little choice but to take the offense over with what's been going on this yr. They've had very few games this season that were blowouts from tip. They are either behind or struggling to hang on to a small lead. When teams are in that situation they go to their #1 option as much as possible. Nash, Gasol, Howard & now MWP have been in & out of the line-UP all season. Kobe's been the only constant & not to mention there's been very little help from the bench as well.
