#72im thinking spurs tomorrow, Ginobli probably sat out just so he could be fresh for the thunder tomorrow in the home opener, whats your take?Comment -

Wish the Grizz hadn't collapsed late. Would be back to even if they hadn't. Memphis and Detroit both, actually. Horrific 4Q.
Not sure og. like I said, I typically avoid teams that open and close as one-possession home faves (like the Pistons and Suns last night, who both lost). Will probably just pass on tonight's card after this ugly start to the season (thanks to the 7U I lost on that under for some stupid reason). Good luck if you play it -- Spurs at home is typically a good bet.Comment -

adjusting to life without Harden will be difficult especially during the first game of the season against a revenge minded spurs team. thats my angle we will see how it plays out.
Also aren't TNT 1st Half OVERS money from previous years? I remember you commenting on this.Comment -

I think the trend was a lot stronger for the first game of the TNT double header but obviously that one has been postponed.Comment -

#81I like the Spurs tonight. Revenge game for them after OKC ousted them in the playoffs. OKC is breaking in some new pieces as well.
Lets not forget the Spurs were the team in the NBA for the majority of the season last year. They are a really good team.
B2B doesn't matter 2nd game of the season.Comment -

#83GL. I would have made a lot of money if I bet against OKC every time my gut told me to last year.
I just feel like OKC could come out a little flat after losing Harden. Also, the Spurs are a damn good team regardless if Ginobli is playing or not. They looked unstoppable for about a month last year. Coach Pop will have them ready.
OKC was way ahead of schedule last year. I expect them to take a step back this season after taking two steps forward last year. I think you're probably looking at a team that wins about 50 games and goes out in the second round or conference finals depending on the matchups.
Picking up Lamb and stockpiling draft picks will pay dividends, just not this year. This team is still extremely young.Comment -

#86In the regular season you should try and force yourself. I completely understand you on this, I can't bet against most teams I support (mostly my soccer team but i go to all the games, how am i supposed to fade my team then attend the game?) but I've decided that in the reg season I will force myself to fade the Mavs when necessary. Not in playoffs though (should we make it, think we will).Comment -

#87Already getting sick of the NBA.
Spurs cruising along, up 11, then all of a sudden they feel like they need to just start jacking up wild 3's and playing no D. Now we're tied.
These double digit blown leads are getting old.Comment -

This isn't a terrible loss for my Thunder. They didn't play well and it took a buzzer beater to beat them.Comment -

Why do I bother with this shit year after year?
This league's a joke. Such a predictable finish for no reason whatsoever. Spurs should've won going away. Glad I won the bet, but honestly, I might just spot bet the NBA from now on. It's the same old song and dance.Comment -

#97Just wait until you make your biggest bet of the year on the ML, your team is up 20 with 5 minutes to go and they lose in regulation.
That happened to me last year in the Memphis/Golden State. Nothing surprises me. I'll be sweating the 4th quarter when my team is up 20.
Remember the Clippers/Grizzlies game in the playoffs?Comment -

#99BigD don't remind me about that playoff game, ruined mine and many others nights. Surprised to see you down on the Thunder this year, my buddy is a huge fan and although he is going through a rough patch with the Harden deal he still thinks the West is theirs but that's also because he doesn't believe in the Lakers.Comment -

#100NC we all know the NBA is about as tough as it gets yet we get suckered in every year. Its gonna take me a bit to get a read on some of these teams so my action will be very light in the early going and hopefully my bankroll thanks me.Comment -
