Why I made so many plays yesterday, I have no idea. Has anyone ever gone overboard on plays and actually had a good day? Gambling gods aren't interested in rewarding you for stupidity.

Only other leans are Utah and Portland for obvious reasons, but the lines reflect the B2B spots accordingly and the consecutive nights theory doesn't really work that well early in the season. If you'd give me the Blazers at +6 and the Jazz at -5, I'd take both.

Usually that kind of steady juice without a line move would indicate the Lakers are the play and the books are just collecting extra juice on Portland backers. Doesn't look that way here though. Sometimes the books will play mind games, especially when they know it's going to be a public chase play.
