Portland is playing very well right now. This is a revenge spot for them from 2 weeks ago when the Kings beat them by like 20 at the Rose Garden.

I'm not going to bet on the Thunder tomorrow, I'm just going to enjoy the game. With that said, I have a feeling they're going to lose and not cover....

In finals re-matches on Christmas day, the team that lost is 4-1. I know all the trends favor OKC here but I don't feel good about it. Miami is still a little better.

Hope I'm wrong.

I either won't bet or will go with Miami. Or maybe just sit out the first half and make sure Miami shows up to play. A few games ago I couldn't help but notice the Heat stopped farting around on defense, and I seriously doubt they did that with the idea in mind that they would be busting their asses from now on till the end of the season; I believe the Heat have been specifically tuning up for this particular game against OKC. If they are taking the game that seriously, I really don't think it is a good idea to bet against them.

At the same time I am seeing the same old mistakes from OKC. The same bonehead ritual at the beginning of each game where they are compelled to throw the ball to Perkins 2 or 3 times so that he can fumble it out of bounds and (I presume) feel "involved". The same bonehead passes by Westbrook and Durant when they are driving toward the bucket, that are supposed to fly right between the defenders legs to another Thunder player breaking for the basket, except the passes either hit a defender in the shin or the guy cutting is unable to catch the pass...

I respect your analysis, but unfortunately (for one of us), I'm just not feeling it.

Thanks and thank you for the analysis. Matchups will be interesting. Let's see if Brooks is smart and goes small. Perkins doesn't need to play much unless Heat decide to go big.

Of course I'm happy when the Thunder win. I'm a fan first. My life doesn't revolve around gambling every single day.

Considering you're down like 90 units and didn't win any of your bets the last few days, it's probably not a good omen you're backing my team.

I make wagers but I don't bet like 8 games every single day of the week. It's easy to get caught up in having to have action everyday and I don't want to be someone that has a life like that.

Also, what I do is nothing like hedging. I don't give a shit about what people think of me on here.

Hedging is when a poster makes a ridiculous prediction that is going to inevitably be wrong and then they make a huge bet on the other side to save face. I don't do that because I have no reputation here I care about.

I was obnoxious during the playoffs last season because people didn't give the Thunder credit all season. There are a lot of Laker fanboys on this site and they were talking up LA saying they were better than OKC and were going to beat them in the second round etc.

Of course I'm going to bump all the dumbass predictions when they pertain to my team. When people say really stupid things that are completely wrong, I will call their cocky ass on it. That is all.

Can you name one other time I ran my mouth? I'm pretty sure it was only during OKC's playoff run and that was only because a bunch of morons ran their mouth first. It was all in fun anyway.

I mean, what do you expect when people say,

"OKC won't do anything in the playoffs."
"OKC will go out in the first round."
"Someone tell OKC the regular season means nothing."

Yeah, you did well in the playoffs. I've given you props for that.

I was just saying that the only time I was obnoxious was during the playoffs last year and I was typically drunk after Thunder wins. If people talked shit about Philly all year and then they went to the Finals, wouldn't you have some fun with it?

Just remember, I hope you do well tomorrow because if you do, that means OKC has a great shot at winning.
