Hoping for some points up in Townsville. I can't see how the Warriors D is going to improve, Cowboys dropped a tonne of pill last week and beat themselves this should be easier for them. Expecting a bit from the Warriors also they've points in them just need to sort it out. Might go over 50 this one.

I know it's only week 3, but I watched all the games yesterday and seriously the standard of ball handling was terrible.
Some dubious officiating all around especially in the Panthers game. That last penalty goes against what the game is all about. Decoy runner runs into defender and defender gets penalized for taking him out.
The sharks and dragons both did their best to lose the game.
The cowboys were awful, terrible display with the talent they have.

TGM I agree I mentioned something in Dravids thread regarding the video ref it's doing my head in. There's been so many this year already but another last night in the Cowboys game where Fisiahi 'scored', ref called it a try on the field and he pretty clearly knocked it on watching the replay yet they gave it. I had the over so I was stoked at the time but it shouldn't of been given. They even had the TMO comment after and all the guy said was he was onside just didn't bother to try make an excuse for the knock on which he could of claimed came off his knee or something, but nope just avoid it.
That Winterstein no try summed up the Cowboys in that game, open line about 4 meters to run and he manages to fall over and knock the ball on with no one around him. I would of found it hilarious but I needed those points!Comment -
u serious... u obviously had money on manly that first game.... I spose the referring was fine in the first half when the penalty count was 5-0 in manly's favour and storm were called for a forward pass (which wasn't forward) when about to run over the line...
the penalty count ended up being almost even.... manly had their chances they just fkd up...smith was the difference in the end. refs...Comment -

The Dragons have played well - you can only beat who is in front of you.
I still think they have problems at fullback and halfback.
Quinlan isn't the biggest guy and his hands are letting him down.
Once Dugan gets back though, they'll be very dangerous.
Not sure what to make of Sam Williams - plenty of praise for him at the Raiders but he's been average in the 2 games he's played.
Again, once Michael "Fark" Witt comes back from injury, he should compliment Widdop well.
These early wins are crucial and I think they should be able to make the 8 now after the start they have made.
They are probably one forward short of a Top 4 spot though.
As for the Eels, I had the game capped at around 16, but I don't play faves ATS early in the season.
