Sando's All Sports (NBA, AFL, NRL) -
Sportsbook Review Forum
Rough Day 0-2, could have easily been 2-0. Can't win every game.
NY/NO Under - 35 point 4th quarter left us 4 points short of the over.
LA -5.5 - 18 missed free throws did not help the cause.
0-2 today in the NBA -3 Units
NBA YTD 55-27-6 (+35.87 Units) 67%
(NBA ATS/ML 42-19-4 YTD) 68.85%
(NBA totals 13-8-2 YTD) 61.9%
Tennis YTD 31-25-4 (+17.16 Units) 55.4%
Big card tommorow, some very interesting games, see you then.

Hey man, not Rough if they were close. I'd rather lose close bets, then be completely off. It happens, tomorrow is another day. I just like coming here to read your write-ups as its always good to converse and read other peoples perspectives before placing a bet, so regardless, keep doing what you do.

Totally agree ith Eagles27, and i really enjoy reading your write-ups. You can't win everyday, but still +35,87 units is quite impressive. Keep up the good work.

I like to hear those stats. I, for one, always like to look at my wagers and ask myself "where did I go wrong? or "why did this bet lose?" when I lose a wager I felt confident about. I did not see it as whining in anyway. Keep up the good work and thanks.

Nothing that similar about their plays, writing style or anything.
Furthermore LTA was more of a totals player and didn't bet sides that often.
LTA was followed line movements and always tried to anticipate where the line was going to be before locking in a play.

LTA was all numbers. Stats. He could barely name an nba starting lineup. He was more of a models guy, while Sando seems to look more at the matchups.

well we were on the right side of the plays, i feel like in basketball you win more often when you are on the right side as opposed to f.e. soccer where goals are so hard to come by and scores are often not inidicative of what happened

NBA
Philly @ Cleveland
76er's -4 (-106 Pinnacle) 2x
Sixers won three in a row and starting to roll now. Back 2 Back not as important with a young list like Philly. No Irving for the Cav's is massive. Philly's bench is so much deeper than Cleveland's. Nick Young has been hot off the bench and that spells danger for ANY team the way he can rack up the points. 76er's just beat Cav's 4 days ago by 7 and with Irving in the Cav's line-up. Jrue holiday just continues to impress, he is literally getting better every game.
NY @ Dallas
Knick's -2.5 (-110 Pinnacle) 3x *Feel free to buy the hook if want to be safe but just remember the Knickerbockers are not playing close games this year.
Dallas continues to be over-rated by the "experts" at home.
**Analysis to follow
Adding another 1 unit to Knicks pick for a total of 3 units.
Denver @ Minnesotta
Nuggets -3 (-112 Pinnacle) 1.5x ** most lines at -3.5 by now, so if you can't buy the hook and get line to -3 then I suggest avoid or 1 unit max.
Detroit @ Orlando
Pistons +1.5 (-107 Pinnacle) 1x
Brooklyn @ G/S
Nets m/l (+113 Pinnacle) 1.5x **Take the +2.5 if your not feeling as brave as I am.
Nets actually looked really good last night in LA and would be angry and fired up and losing the game at the death after leading by 5-6 with a few minutes left. Deron Williams absolutley smoked poor Darius Morris last night in the 1st half and Curry is a lot smaller than Morris. Deron will test out Curry's suspect ankle no doubt with a few crossovers and just generally make him work on D if Mark Jackson chooses to go with Curry at al on D-will? "Crash" Wallace looked awesome last night, he was just everywhere on the court, his anticipation and reading of the game is as good as you will see in the NBA. Lopez had a great night offensively and his mid range game looked very sharp. While you guys know how much I rate the Warriors (after the m/l pick in Dallas the other night) I do not like them in this position. Not a big road trip form LA to G/S and I expect JJ to bounce back after a poor night in LA. With the offensive options available in Brooklyn, a run n' game will probably not bother them plus D-Will is very versatile and can adjust in game as neccesary, plus they have 2 guys (Wallace and Evans) just playing great D at the moment and even Humphries who is a great match-up for David Lee might struggle to get his usual stash of rebounds with the plethora of strong rebounders on the Nets team. Would not be surprised to see plenty of iso-joe against young Barnes or Thompson. I expect an angry Nets team to roll over the Warriors here.
NBA Totals
Portland @ Phoenix
Over 200 (-101 Pinnacle) 2x
Portland are really rolling at the moment. 3 Straight wins and 3 straight 100+ outputs, their offense is running smoothly and they are averaging 100+ on the season. Phoenix is always a relatively high scoring team, especially at home and the run n' gun style that was expected to die with Nash's departure is still somewhat in effect with mini Nash (Dragic) running the show. Portland is an ok defensive team, Phoenix is not. Expect a high scoring, free flowing type game.
SA @ Boston
Under 194 (-107 Pinnacle) 1.5x
Milwaukee @ Miami Under 203 (-107 Pinnacle) 1x
** just going to head down to the shops for a coffee and then I'll smash out some write-ups for the plays. No more plays, I think 8 is plenty, as we have 13.5 units on the line today boys. Feel like a kid in a candy shop, there are so many games that I like today but hopefully I have chosen the best ones as picks.
Love the sixers play. You take the ball out of Irvings hands and put it in Pargos hands for 35 minutes, its a big difference. There is a reason he has been in and out of league for years.

This is the kind of discipline I like about Sando and the main thing I'm taking away from this thread. He's just stated several reasons this bet is incredibly likely to cash, yet still restricts his wager to a couple of units to account for something going wrong.

The troll comes around even with guys that win 67 percent of the time and I am glad sando does put his record on here so these trolls do know what their record is. Hey trolls do some picks yourself and then talk. I bet you wouldn't get better than 67 percent of the time!! You cannot expect them to hit every game. I trust him.

TAB had Spurs/Celtics O/U at 195.5 paying $1.87 (juice thieves if you ask me)
Was just about to smack it and it gets crunched into $1.75....
