i dont really see anything so far as "unlucky"....tonights game was looking good most of the way, but tor was covering several times in the last few minutes. i did finally hit an A2 so not a horrific night. I like the way i am remaining conservative and just riding out the cold start and not having it snowball. I'll be fine.

dexter i would love your input. Bulls and Blazers.

i just dont see the t-wolves scoring much on the bulls. bulls easily could have beat the thunder, as i see the bulls double digits better then the t-wolves especially at home.

blazers played a sh1tty first half, but then a hot second half. as i dont believe this solid young team will lose two at home in a row. plus this is the spurs third road game in 4 days. as them being would i believe is the oldest team in the league, vs a very young team. i love the blazers. any thoughts??

Dex, what's your thought on Spurs at Portland tonight? I was watching the Spurs last night and Parker was horribly off his game. Commentators said he might have a flu. If so, that will last a couple of days. Spurs got lucky that Sac didn't captilise off the many turnovers they had, and without Parker to keep them ticking I can see Portland covering and maybe winning tonight after a bad loss Thursday.

well, i am going to be on the wolves for 2u as tony brothers is the ref. i dont look at nba games like that.....over an 82 game season i much prefer to look for spots where these guys take nights off, play extra hard etc....the idea that these are professional athletes who give it 110% every night is ludicrous to me. when i look at this game, i see it as a trap game for chi....sandwiched in between okc and boston up next. i am going to wait for the line to keep steaming and take minny at 8.5 or 9. minny has also been phenomenal this year both su and ats (4-1)....and this is without love. obviously a well coached squad.

its port or no play for me....dont like how port looked at home the other night. they came back in the 2nd half (everyone does in the nba) and then fell apart late again. they have a rookie running the show for them, so i dont know how much i am willing to back the blazers yet as i always do at home. plus betting against the spurs and popivich always takes a lot for me to do.

see above - i think gary neal is an excellent backup, so i wouldnt really look at no parker has a horrible thing. but if you're assuming parker is going to play through the flu and not be effective i suppose that is possible though a risky angle to hang your hat on.

Yo Dex! Great record in NBA last year!

My only interest in Basketball is $$$ (or rather £££ as i'm British) so dont really know much about the officials and their roles.

So its not like Baseball or Soccer where the officials have specific roles and 1 of the roles is more important (in terms of scoring) than the others.

Any opinion on the Lakers game tonight Dex? Kings have had some real bad beats so far this season. But everytime I've seen them, they've really impressed me. I think they are getting a lot of points against a Lakers team who are yet to really impress. Even if Lakers do come out tonight ready to really dig for their new (temp) coach, I still think Kings are good enough to keep up with them and cover.
