I think anything under 3/1 is terrible odds. He opened +275 at dimes too. Kyle at even to win this stacked field. I wouldn't bet single under those odds personally.

i would start a parlay with him though, but would need to be closer to+200 even for that

I took Harvick +600, Smith +1700, Larson +1900 and Chase Elliott +3000 for NW

Didn't think I would see better odds on any of them later.

Still think he will be +200 or better. 5D price was just over compensation to early money I'd say.

Drivers are worried about other cars moving to block their fast laps during quali.

Whats the bet we see new rules about no blocking in quali like F1 has.

Main two drivers for Sunday are Jimmie (+275) and Denny (+875).

Also put some on Harvick (+1600) (odds were too nice), Kyle (+750) and Edwards (+2000).

This are some low low odds on Jimmie imo , but he's over valued every week. I like Kyle too, but hit him on openers +900. Hope he gets even better cause I have to bet them again anyways. Those are a few of mine I bet so far. Have a lot to figure out still

And everybody is gonna take Edwards in some fashion at 20/1 when he was that high.

Im in gonna have to see something out of harvick, Kurt, whole team b4 I bet them I think.

I am watching it now Mike and I got mixed emotions. I think I am intrigued just because of the changes but I think this can become just as boring if not more than the previous setup because it is so drawn out. I definitely do not like it from a betting standpoint but maybe it will grow on me. Who knows

I don't mind it. Each driver gets 3 runs so we get a better idea how well each team is on top of the setup. And it takes less time than the old format (if nobody wrecks)

if these were the race setups it might mean something, but being its qualifying setups i dont think it matters

Maybe 3 sessions, 20, 15 and 10 min would work better I think. No engine cooling guff.

Although I agree, let them use pit road coolers.

What if they changed to having qualifying last thing after all practice is done, and then the cars have to start the race in the same setup they qualified in?

And you're right about them trying to make it more interesting. But I think thats ok as long as it encourages them to race for position and isnt some sort of lottery. Another effect will be a lot more TV minutes for each sponsor. Particularly the top 12.
