Not just for the entry picks. As you say it sounds like it might not do terrible damage to chances in comparison to others. I've been adding parlays and teasers each day as more MLs come out and had ended up with 8 different ones all with Fresno in them. Did heaps of points and 100 odd in cash too. And was just so certain they would at least win straight up that I'm now really unsure about all my other picks. Was all fired up to bet up a bunch of games big to end the year with a bang... and now I'm wavering.

I was just thinking about it. It's really hard to predict the form with the long layoff.

And also coaches have a lot more time to gameplan and prepare which also helps change the dynamic.

Most you ever get in the NFL is two weeks between games.

I'd think 2 weeks is the max I would want any type of football team having off between games, to stay match fit.

In NRL rugby league the week off top 2 seeds get is often thought of as a poison chalice.
