I'm on the Roosters as well, liking the under too.

#247I am a little worried about tonight's game. Surely hasler knows a loss tonight could mean finishing 6th and playing an injury depleted knights round 1 of the finals. A win would mean having to face the very in form cowboys.Comment -

#248Hey Mate, Dont have much time today but defintley on the Dogs and will trade live tonight here.
Roosters at plus 5 is good value.I am on them
Dragons Warriors going over they always have a high scoring game but i will do my research first on that one.
Titans are a bet at the +18 and also ML....
Knights to keep Eels to under 10 points and score over 20..Good line bet on Knights.
Good Luck mate,Comment -

#250Easts have injury concerns for Round 26 and look to just be getting ready for the finals, I'll wait to see the final line ups but take Easts with the start for something small at this stage.Comment -

As I said in the write-up, if you are going to start doing that to avoid certain teams, you are doomed to failure.
Bad habits set in and they are hard to reverse with the finals around the corner.
The best coaches would basically be telling their players that they are not afraid to face anyone as to be the best you have to beat the best.
I expect a solid start from the Broncos with Scotty Prince's last game of NRL and it also being his 300th game, while David Stagg plays his 200th game.
However, the Bulldogs have that better class and depth in all areas and i expect them to kick away second half.Comment -

ROUND 26 PLAYS
Bet # 65 - Bulldogs -4.5 @ $1.95 (Betting 195) - 2 UNITS - LOSS
Bet # 66 - Warriors -8 @ $1.95 (Betting 195) - 2 UNITS - LOSS
Bet # 67 - Titans +19.5 @ $1.90 (Sportingbet) - 2 UNITS - WIN
Bet # 68 - Roosters +5.5 @ $1.90 (TAB) - 1 UNIT - WIN
Bet # 69 - Knights -16.5 @ $1.95 (Betting 195) - 1 UNIT - WIN
(May play it for another unit after the Titans and Warriors games)
Others I might play:
Cowboys -15
Sharks -2.5
Good luck to everyone.
Both games really disappointing, especially the Warriors who really had so much to play for and ended up laying an egg.
In the end it wouldn't have mattered as both the Knights and Cowboys won.

#253OK lads, here are my leans for week 1 of the finals:
Rabbitohs ML
Sharks -2
Roosters -1.5
Knights +5
At this stage, I am looking at playing the Roosters for 2 units, they are my pick of this week's games.
After lengthy discussions with some esteemed peers, this is looking more and more like a certain play.Comment -

#254Late posting the play people - I am on Roosters for 2 units.
Cant get the 1.5 now.
I am hearing that Brett Stewart is in huge doubt and the line has now moved to 2.5.
For record keeping:
2 units roosters -2.5 @$1.95 (TAB)Comment -

#258Finals - week 2
Both lines are quite tight.
Manly v Cronulla
Obviously the Carney injury is really going to hurt the Sharkies, so I expect them to muscle up and try to chew up the clock as much as possible, kicking for touch to waste that extra 30 seconds for the scrum to set.
Anyone have any data on the O/U stats for the sharks when Carney is out?
Liking the under in this game and I am expecting a massive game from Paul Gallen.
By rights, Manly should win this 13+, but last week will take a toll on them and it could be closer than many think.
My mail is that Brett Stewart may not play again this year and that he may retire at the end of the season due to ongoing injury concerns - as a consequence, Manly are looking at making a play for Will Hopoate to cover the loss of Stewart.
No clear lean on the spread, but if it gets out to 12 or more, then the Sharks are definitely a play.
If they can keep it close early on, then anything can happen.
Melbourne v Newcastle
The Knights will have much more difficulty stopping Smith and Cronk as opposed to Hodkinson and Ennis.
If they give the Storm as much quality field position as they did the Bulldogs, then they'll be celebrating earlier than planned.
Contrary to popular belief, the Storm have been average at home this season and have struggled to put teams away.
The Knights have been solid but unspectacular and I still can't believe Bennett's style of football still wins football games in this era of modern thinkers.
The Newcastle Dragons will struggle to score points this week and Bellamy will have his players primed after a lacklustre game last week.
This will be the last game of NRL for Gower and Buderus.
I've capped this game at 6, so the line favours the Knights but I have a feeling the Storm win by a little more.
No official plays for me this week.
However, these options are what I like if anyone is interested:
Unders in both games
Storm 7-12
Manly 1-12Comment
