    NRL Round 16

    2* Tigers +8 vs Raiders

Tigers home record 3-3 and are minus Farah and Woods. Raiders away record 1-4 and are minus Papalli and Ferguson. Tigers looked absolutely horrible against the Broncos last week and the raiders have continued their dominance at home. Not sure what the story is but the raiders just aren't the same when they're playing outside of Canberra. Something tells me Tigers bounce back tonight or at the very least keep it close.

Oh that's weird, I remember someone had an ITM cup thread, I thought it was you, I guess not. I love ITM cup, my favourite rugby comp, can't wait, are you kiwi?

An English guy made one which I was apart of. We had nothing on I think it was easysaid (had a Welsh player in his avatar)? Guy killed it.

                    State of origin game II

2* NSW vs QLD UNDER 34.5

Yes I know these games have been so low scoring that an OVER that to happen at some point but I still like the UNDER in this game. Both these teams are as defensively sound as one could ask more. NSW are minus Hayne and Ferguson (two of NSW bigger offensive weapons) which favours the UNDER even more. People are saying that QLD run riot and win 13+. Whilst I don't disagree, I believe that if this happens, it'll be in the last 10 minutes. I don't see QLD piling on try after try for the full 80. I don't see many points from NSW tonight, they know that we know that so expect them to reply heavily on their defensive game to win it. History also shows that game III are more "OVER" games than game II's so I'm also banking on that trend.

1* Josh Dugan over 150.5 metres

I'm not usually one for prop bets but I just think the Dugan continues on from his amazing origin performance for his side whom have been struggling big time. Whilst I don't think the dragons win, I think they'll have some chances to attack and their only real offence goes through Dugan. I think Dugan may even get 200 running or somewhere in the mid 180-190's. It's mnf so sticking with one unit.

                                            Match: Rabbiohs vs Dragons
                                            Prop bet
1* Josh Dugan over 150.5 metres WON

I'm not usually one for prop bets but I just think the Dugan continues on from his amazing origin performance for his side whom have been struggling big time. Whilst I don't think the dragons win, I think they'll have some chances to attack and their only real offence goes through Dugan. I think Dugan may even get 200 running or somewhere in the mid 180-190's. It's mnf so sticking with one unit.

                                                Match: Tigers vs Sea Eagles
                                                Prop Bet
1* James Tedesco OVER 103.5 metres

Won last monday night's prop bet quite easily and if this cashes, might turn MNF into MPF (Monday Prop Night). Tigers at home at Campbelltown Stadium and it's Farah's 250th game. You can bet the Tigers will be putting up a spirited performance against the Sea Eagles who continue to rack up the points against the inferior sides of the competition. Tigers young promising fullback Tedesco has had 2 relatively quiet games (metre gaining wise) and I think he is due for a big game. In the 14 games he's played, he's averaging 108.5 metres a game eclipsing the 100 mark 7 times. With finals essentially out of reach for the tigers, think the focus of the remainder of the season will be on the young talent to produce big games and Tedesco is well in that category. Expecting the sea eagles to be kicking a lot to Tedesco and thus think the kick return metres are gonna be enough to get us across the line here.

nrl stats yet to be completely finalised/adjusted yet, currently short 25metres. but from watching the game, don't think it'll be adjusted that many metres so ready to count this one as a loss.

and with that the MPF experiment is over.

                                                        I disagree mate.
Overs was not a bad play.
Johnson missed 2 conversions and Carney one - both had only missed 1 in their last 30 kicks.
The Warriors also bombed a try at the death to win the game or at least send the game into GP.

Analysis for the Warriors vs Panthers Game

Massive massive revenge angle here for the warriors. The Panthers looked the goods midway through the season with a string of wins but now regression to the mean and they look busted. The warriors on the other hand are in a really really good position to play finals footy but it really comes down to this match. If they lose this, they don't deserve to play finals footy. With their poor points differential, they really need t to win their remaining 4 games and they have a very favourable draw. Reason why they're in this predicament? Cause of the panthers 56 point thumping on them. I think they still remember that and they'll be looking to exact revenge and win by as many points not just to exact revenge but to improve their points differential and most importantly stay in the hunt for that 8th spot.

Form suggests that either side look hot. Panthers have been thrashed in their past 4 games, Warriors have dropped their last 2 with the most disappointing one being against the Sharks at NZ.

Nonetheless, the warriors are at full strength and if they have the players to win this easily. If a 56 point thumping isn't enough to get this warriors team going, then I really don't know what will.

Been a long lay-off from handicapping which is why Im sticking with a solitary unit but I really do like the warriors to thump the panthers.

Titans essentially are out of top 8 contentions even though they're 8th with their next 2 games away against roosters and storm. Warriors blew a big opportunity last week but still have one last chance to redeem themselves with a win tonight. They have by far the easiest draw of all finals bound teams.
