I think he was the beneficiary of a pace meltdown and beat a less than stellar field. Elders will give him trouble IMO. will add a little spice to the Classic for sure

This was not said well. Realize he beat elders here but this field not even close to what he'll be facing in the BC

Yes he has.. no doubt. On a separate note I wish asmussen had run Untapable in the Jim Dandy rather than the Haskell. Realize purse higher in former but on a more honest track like Saratoga think she had a real shot to take both that and the Travers.. If she was real impressive in those we might be talking about her going to the Classic which would be the ultimate accomplishment for a 3yo filly. Think she's scheduled to run in the Cotillion at Parx which is the same day as the Pennsylvania Derby. Chrome scheduled to run in that and believe it's 3rd week in September

I just heard through the grapevine that they have arrested the guy who shot Captain Serious in the heart during the stretch run of yesterday's 10th race at Saratoga. My sources tell me that they caught him as he attempted to cash a fist full of tickets all with straight punched 7-5 exactas.
