Fvckin Castellano just got his 6th win of the day on Reload. Unbelievable and I put him to run 2nd. Damn it. Now I really doubt he is gonna get his 7th win today!!

Race of the Day: Saturday The Gotham-G3 @ 1 1/16 at Aqueduct.

Five horse here produced at least one 90+ Beyer (2-In Trouble, 4-Uncle Sigh, 1-Noble Cornerstone, 1a-Samraat, 8-Extraseyhippzster). I imagine one of these will probably win. But the one that I am most interested in is the 5-Monopolize. A few things that I really like is that he is trained by Todd Pletcher and owned by Repole Stable. Although he has not done anything other than win his maiden, I just can't believe that a horse that cost $500k as a yearling out of Bernadini (A.P. Indy) and Jaramar Rain (Thunder Gulch) cannot run a step. He is getting blinkers for the 1st time. I think that will help him. I think he will be closer to the pace and will get first shot to leaders turning for home. At 30-1 ML, I think he will outrun his odds. The other $500K yearling is the 10-Harpoon, looking at his form, I just don't think he is that fast. I gonna key the 5-Monopolize with the 90+ players and hope for the best.

As usual, comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Been busy lately, couldn't play much ponies. Anyways, today's DRF Race of the Day is R8 @ Gulfstream Park going 1 1/16. This race on paper looks very simple, we have a lone speed in the 1-Social Inclusion and one class horse in 4-Honor Code. Honor Code is the ML favorite @ 3-5 and the 1-Social Inclusion is @ 3-1. The fact that there are only 5 horses in this race and only one speed horse. I am going go with the 1-Social Inclusion. He is out of Pioneer of the Nile (Empire Maker) and Saint Bernadette (Saint Ballado) so I don't think the distance is gonna be an issue. He broke out of gate 1 last time so the rail probably is not gonna bother him. My concern is that both trainer and jockey are having a tough meet and the trainer stats on sprint/route is not that great. Still I am going taking the lone speed and hopefully the Honor Code runs out of real estate before he catches the 1. GL every one.

As always, comments and suggestions are always welcome.

Thanks for posting no1here and GL. I like the 8 as well, but the only thing that bothers me that the fact Rosario is not riding, he opted for Strong Mandate. I think most would agree that 3,4, and 8 are the top choices as ML indicated. I am gonna take chance on the 6- Hoppertunity. I cannot believe they put him at 10-1 ML. I think this horse has a ton of upside. He broke his maiden 2nd out at 1 mile, had a trouble trip last out. I think Mike Smith is gonna position him right outside of the 3-Tapiture and take the first crack at him in the stretch. At 10-1 ML, I think there will be good value even he won't go off at that. GL to all.

Hoppertunity (which was actually no. 5) survived the inquiry and objection, won at 5-1 which is kinda of what I think he will go off at. Till next time, GL everyone,

DRF Race of the Day is SA Race 7- Santa Ana Stake @ 1 1/8 Turf. DRF analysts picks are 4-Topic and 6-Emollient. Looking at the form, Emollient is definitely the horse to beat. This filly is hard to read, she seems to run a bad race for no good reason. Also, she doesn't have a definitive running style. She has won wire to wire, from tactically placed and from come from behind. Is she that versatile and talented? I have my reservations. The ML is 1-1, it's too low for me to take. So I'm gonna try to beat her. The sleeper of the race is probably the 1-Miss Serendipity. Think that people will overlook because Stevens and Bejarano both abandoned her. I think I will get a line that is better than 4-1 ML. She earn a 93 Beyer last out, losing to Ponchatrain and Egg Drop, both are very good milers. I'm not sure if a mile is what she wants. I believe that Blanc ( an underrated turf rider) will sent her to the lead and control the pace. If she does that, I think she will have enough to hold off any closers. GL all.

I think the 1 had a chance if she wasn't bumped, blocked by the 3. Oh well, better luck next time. Till then, GL all.

Today's Race of the day is GP race 8, 1 mile on dirt. Not gonna write much, I'm gonna take 1- Sonja's Angel. I think she is the sharpest form right now. ML @ 3-1, I think it is worth a shot even though Castellano opted for the 8 horse. GL everyone.

The 7 made the front and made an effort, but couldn't hold on. The 1 made a run in the stretch but could hold off the 3.

Race of the Day is the Florida Derby @ Gulfstream Park, not much to write, I am gonna take the most talented horse here and if he is gonna go to the Derby, he needs this race. My pick: 3-Cairo Prince. GL.

                                                      #5 east hall (20-1)

Not sure what happened at Tampa last out but prior to that his beyers went up every race he ran on the dirt. Had to break 12 post two races back in FOY and still didn't run bad finishing 4th. Should get a nice set up here with considerable speed in the race. Likely to be an overlay and not a bad horse to use bottom of tris and supers

I agree. I thought and hope that if he is gonna go to the Derby, he has to win this. My other pick was the 4-Constituion. And unfortunately, my narrowminded thinking that he will go to the Derby, made me single him in my Pick 4 and Pick 5. I was contemplating whether to single him or include Constitution, at the end, a bad mistake. Sometime emotions get into my judgement. A hard lession learned (again). Pick 4 paid over $1500, and Pick 5 paid over $11K.......

Anjaz the NY horse that Rajiv was on was coming off a layoff and had talent I didnt see the value in him at 5 to 1? Think his ML was 9/2 thought he would go off at 12 to 1 and then next race

Anjaz, I took because of Harthebar on this forum, I had the 1 and 2 in that race. I was lucky to see that from Harthebar. The following race was a tough one, I had 4,5,6. If I remember correctly, that horse was riden by Alex Solis and he has been on that horse for past few races. I took a shot cuz his figures and odds were good. I think the next two weren't too bad. I took Micromange and Nevada Kid and Csaba. The next race I took Newsdad and both Kittens and Vertiformer. Then the last race, I WANTED Cairo Prince to win, I have always like him. But now, who knows, does he even have enough points to get into the Derby??
