TA,

Tough loss yesterday, BOL with your card today.

I have given up betting the heavy favorites. It just seems like the risk to reward ratio isn't sufficient (for me). I understand that the game is supposed to be a lock but when those teams lose it hurts and I have seemed to have a nack for capping those heavy favorites when they go down. I still want to look at the past season and see if one could even make money from betting the -250+.

Anyways, just wanted to say a few words and wish you the best

I've gone over to under/overs mostly, and having some success with it. "Easier" when you don't have to pick a winner.

Tonight's card is;

NSH - LA Under
CAR - NJ Under
FLA - DAL Under
CLB - STL Under

Played as 4xSingle 2xDouble 1xFours

Looking OK so far, 2-1 LA after 2nd and 1-0 NJ after 1st period.

as i mentioned in my previous post, I too, had lost big in the weeks proceeding yesterdays game my betting heavily on favs (id had enough after washington's 5-1 loss to ATL.... and then maple leafs S/O win over capitals) so needless to say i didnt book the bet @ 1.28 or -300 as i had it ?? on red wings

a bet to win 60 unit wouldnt that require a wager of 180 units ? or (18,000) ?? or have i got the math wrong?

T/A .. or did you mean RISK 60 u ?

i thought the post says WIN 60u

i was rooting for you all with the red wings and sad to see the result

if my maths is correct wouldnt this loss take you into a negative for the season?

I can understand how and why you feel that way. It seems the heavy chalks have been taking the hits and having the puck bounce against them recently. It happens.

If totals are "easier" and work for you, I'm happy for you. I do have to question as to why you posted after some of the games began. Obviously, there was were reasons but to each there own. Hope you cashed for more than you risked.

100% truth, I have no issues with anyone posting their action/plays/selections/wagers/other term in the thread. One of the things that I find "wrong" are the "I told you so"/"I know more than you" in my thread. While I get people have their right to their opinion, if they can't be friendly (in here), then they should make a separate thread. Just trying to keep the thread relatively clean.

The post was correct, "to win" sixty units. It didn't but it happens. Yes, currently in the red for the season and now using my money in the accounts (instead of won cash). Good luck with your action.

What do you usually set your roll at or I guess a better question is what is your betting based off. For example, are you wagers 10% of your roll.

I suppose I should move this over to MLB but I am trying to get a good idea of what my MLB roll should look like for this season.

From my experience, it's never worth betting on anything worse than -250. If you're going to bet those games, just take the underdog each time.

Just my opinion, but betting -300, etc. is not profitable.

. They, WA, should have put the Islanders away much earlier when the opportunities presented themself. Since they didn't, it took longer to accomplish it. An ugly win is still a win.

Games Still Wildly Unpredictable?

Looking back, I would have swore that the Canucks would never make it to the playoffs the way they were playing in that one patch of theirs - I thought that the Vigneault guy was headed out.

And I dont get Panthers either ? They dont seem to have lost all that many games early on to be where they are today.

lately they have been winning with good streaks.

Have really cut back the ice action recently. Some from the non-cashers, some from getting thing finalized for bases, some from things going on around the homestead. While it doesn't take long to put the variables in the equation, there just hasn't been as much time to even do that.

Getting ready to watch the MON/BOS shortly.

Far as the Wings game went, OZZY kept them in the game the first period. It was as if he had a mini-goalie helping him with some of the saves he made. The PKers did a fantastic job. Disregard the money won from the game, they played well and if "this" team shows up nightly for their games, they are capable of going very deep in the playoffs.
