Well since the IIHF is over and I probably won't be too active the rest of the playoffs it's finally cashout day on Pinny

Think I'm up roughly $1500-$2000 overall including the playoffs so still a profitable year but didn't hit my goal of +$5k but still 3G's for free is always nice for the life bankroll

Been doing better on baseball and fluking out on NBA

All in all cashing out a cool 3 G's

Will use some of that to take the wife on the cruise I promise her every year for putting up with my degenerate ways

I will still be around I just don't foresee myself making any huge 5-10 unit bets the rest of the way. Mostly just little plug, value bets. Good year so far boys!

Thanks for all the picks this year. You introduced me to the 1st period over bets, made a good bit there. And I found someone more superstitious than me!

Even though I know you're pretty much done for the season force of habbit still has me checking your thread before I put in my bets.

I'm parlaying kings and under 4.5 and in honor of DG I'm playing over 1.5 in the 1st p - my gut tells me there will be a couple early then it goes to defense mode and Quick shines again.

Yes I know it sounds contradictory but, as I stated previously its a tribute to DG as there was once a time when he made the same picks of under 4.5 and over 1.5 in 1st period based off a gut feeling he had. Both bets won on that particular occasion. =)

i'm not sure DG was taking under 4.5's because i don't think there were any this year... an under 5 is one thing...an under 5.5 is certainly possible... an under 4.5 with an over 1.5 1st period just doesn't make sense...

i would say it's the equivalent in nba of taking a 1Q over and a 1H under...that's how difficult it would be to hit. actually i think that NBA scenario happens more often than in nhl with a 4.5 total

Yeah I did over 1.5 (1st) and under 5 a couple times I think. I don't recall doing a 4.5 under and a 1st period over.
