oh and DG... you know im just having a laugh with all the canook shit ive been posting lately. I'm just trying to get JW Gold to come back on here and start talking some shit. I laughed so hard all throughout the finals last year. got some free entertainment. that guy is hilarious. i was hoping he'd come back and start the trash talk so i get get another good laugh. so far it has been to no avail though. you know my joking about canucks is obviously nothing personal.

yea. kings are good defensively. but i dont think that takes anything away from quick. he made 46 saves in game 2 for a reason. I'm a big believer in this kid. i could be wrong who knows. we'll see how his next 5 seasons go.

why does alain always start luongo? im guessing more experience in playoffs/big games? That's a reasonable explanation. But i think schneider was spectacular all year. True it was regular season. but he's a great goaltender. give the kid a shot and see how he does. i'd love to see an all-american showdown in la tonight.

Mostly because of his huge contract and the fact he's extremely sensitive so they don't wanna break him. Also he did lead them to game 7 of the finals so they will always use that excuse. Schneider is the better goalie now though which is why people get so frustrated with Luongo. He needs to just step aside and let Schneider show what he's got in the post-season.

i very rarely play 1st period totals... just not experienced with it. thats why i asked what the logic was. What's the strategy?

Schneider is the better goalie now though which is why people get so frustrated with Luongo. He needs to just step aside and let Schneider show what he's got in the post-season.

I'm not a believer in 12-year contracts. I really don't like long contracts. I feel like it gives the athletes no incentive to produce. We often see that athletes work harder during final years of contract. We see it in all sports. once guys get their fat long term contracts they stop working hard. Feel like players have more of an incentive to produce when their contracts are shorter.

I base it on 1st period goals for. DET was 2nd during the season and NAS was 10th. Also I got with my gut a lot. It's usually a combination of the two.
