4.26.12: Senators W Daniel Alfredsson Total Shots On Goal Over 2.5 [-130]
Lots of speculation that this could be Alfredsson's final NHL game if Ottawa loses, so I'm expecting a full effort. In his two full games in this series, he has put up three and five shots on goal.

4.26.12: Panthers G Jose Theodore Total Saves Over 26.5 [-115]
Theodore back in. He's made 35, 30 & 23 saves in the three full games he has played this series. New Jersey ripped off 42 shots on goal in Game 6 and while a repeat may not be in the cards, they have put up 30 or more in three games this series. Florida gives up close to 30 shots on goal per game at home on the season.

Man I couldn't pick a winner in baseball for shit. I liked the Jackson K prop Over 5.5 some, but like I said ... baseball has been horrible for me so far.

4.27.12: Coyotes G Mike Smith Total Saves Over 26.5 [-115]
The Predators aren't exactly a high volume shooting club, taking an average of 27 shots per game - however, Phoenix is allowing so many shots on goal that it makes sense to try this again. The Coyotes allowed over 30 shots per game in each game of the Chicago series. On the season, they allow 32 shots per game at home. In the regular season meetings, Nashville put at least 30 shots on goal against Phoenix in three of the four meetings. Mike Smith made 30 saves or better in each of the games in the Blackhawks series and has now made at least 29 saves in 17 of his last 19 starts. Against Nashville this season, Smith made 31 stops on 35 shots in his lone start.

4.28.12: Capitals G Braden Holtby Total Saves Over 27 [-115]
Holtby now enters the next round with loads of experience and the tag as the #1 guy in Washington. Holtby saw plenty of pucks sent his way in the Boston series. He made at least 25 saves in all seven games, 27 or better in six of those. Holtby has the experience of playing the Rangers as well, having made a start @ MSG late in the regular season where he was forced to make 35 saves on 36 shots. Overall, the Caps have allowed 31 shots on goal per road game. They faced at least 29 shots in each of the Boston games. Rangers average two more shots per game at home on the season for around 30.6 shots per home game. Against Washington in four games, they put up 32 shots or more three out of four games.

                                4.29.12: FLYERS TEAM TOTAL OVER 2.5 [-145]
Juicy, but worth the squeeze. The Flyers scored three or more in five of the six regular season meetings with New Jersey, including three of four when Brodeur started. Philly comes in having scored three goals or better in seven of their last ten and five of six in the postseason.

4.29.12: Coyotes W Shane Doan Total Shots On Goal Over 3 [-115]
Doan has taken at least three shots on goal in all five meetings with Nashville this season, surpassing three in three of those games. He had three in Game 1 w/Phoenix only getting 24 shots on goal. I expect that output to be a bit better, so Doan should have another chance to get at least the needed number for a push.

Don't think too many people expected this sort of goal production with the 'Yotes and Preds. Doan home w/4 shots in the 2nd. Boom shack-a-lacka.

4.30.12: Kings C Anze Kopitar Total Shots On Goal Over 2.5 [-145]
Another juicy price, but Kopitar whipped five shots on goal in Game 1 and has now put at least three shots on goal in four of the last five games for LA. In the season series with STL, Kopitar had 7, 3, 2 & 2 shots on goal. As long as he keeps get solid ice time, Kopitar should have a chance to pump shots on goal and make up for lost time after missing out on the playoffs in 2011.

Was not particularly impressed by the defense/goal tending of either team in Game 1's 4-3 Flyers win, so I'll side with the OVER until proven otherwise. Flyers looked like they might have just been getting their offense into gear as the game wore on. Both PPs converted for a goal. Devils should look to this as a key with the Flyers having given up at least one PP goal in all but one of their seven playoff games. Philly has scored at least twice in each postseason game and three or more in six of those, while giving up at least three goals now in seven of eight. New Jersey has now scored at least twice in seven of their eight playoff games with three goals in six of those games.

Devils clogged it up good tonight. Still seeing the D/Goal tending ... think this series will have more goals than not. See if we can't get back on track tomorrow.

The Devils have now scored three goals or more in six of their last seven playoff games and seven of nine overall.

He has now had at least three shots on goal in seven of ten postseason games and five of six against the Caps overall this season.

I don't see a reason to go against New Jersey scoring at least three goals since they have been able to do it in every game in this series. Again, Philadelphia's defense/goal tending has been leaky in the postseason and it's not just because they played a high flying club like Pittsburgh in Round 1. Only once this postseason have they kept a team under three goals.

Rooting for Philly to even this up. For some reason the books have not adjusted to the offensive nature of this series or lack of defense. Whatever it is. Quite possible this one could cash another over for the game at big plus odds.

Still, it appears that Ovechkin is once again trying to make the most of his somewhat limited ice time by firing shots at-will when he is in the game. So far in the postseason, he has put at least four shots on goal in seven of Washington's eleven games.

He has done the same in four of the six games in this series. The Rangers seem to have solved the blocked shot issues that limited their shots on goal prior to Games 5 & 6. They have put up 30+ shots in each of those last two games.

Kopitar has three goals and seven assists in nine playoff games. In the regular season, he had five points in six games against Phoenix. For his career, Kopitar has 38 points in 39 games against the Coyotes. The regular season series between these two was very even @ 3-3 with both teams going 2-1 at home. I think if this series goes at least six games, Kopitar should at least push this number and there is a chance we could get seven games in this one if the goal tending continues solid for both sides.
