WAS vs CAR Over 6 (-135) Pinnacle $135 to win $100
3 of the 4 meetings this year the total has gone over including the last 3. Varlamov and Peters will be the goalies and both have been inconsistent. There is more than enough firepower on the Caps without Ovechkin to run and gun and the Canes have averaged 3.2 goals for a game over their last 10. I can definitely see both teams scoring 3 a piece and putting this total over.
PHO vs FLA Under 5.5 (-145) Pinnacle $145 to win $100
When I saw this match-up I thought for sure it would be a 5 so I'm a little surprised to see it at a 5.5. The teams are a combined 80-47 for the under this season. Bryzgalov is confirmed and there's no reason not to expect Vokoun for the Panthers in a non back to back situation. Both these teams play a smart, systematic game and Florida should tighten up defensively after their embarassing loss to the Caps at home last game.

The Wild sit 6 points back of the last playoff spot and 9 behind the Preds for 7th. This is the type of game the Wild can't afford to lose if they still have intentions of making the playoffs. The Wild play the Preds tough having won two of three meetings this season including their last visit to Nashville, and 9 of the last 13 meetings overall. Josh Harding has played well for the Wild and at this value the Wild are worth a shot tonight.
PHI vs DAL Over 5.5 (-133) Pinnacle $133 to win $100
Two high powered offensives collide tonight with two backup goalies in net. Boucher and Lehtonen are confirmed and will be the starters for this one. 4 of the Stars last 5 home games have gone over and 4 of Philly's last 6 road games have gone over. The two teams have met once earlier this season with the Flyers coming away with a 6-3 victory. Both of these teams have the ability to cover the over themselves on any given night. The Flyers have scored 6 or more goals 10 times this year (6.9% of their games) and the Stars are coming off an 8 goal performance.
Some heavy juice but I really like all the total plays tonight. I will see how these go first and will probably have another play or two for the two later games. GL today everyone
