Still very ugly overall but I'm not giving up hope as I've had a couple huge days that have suppressed the damage overall. Football has been killing me this year. I just cant get a grasp on these teams. I typically have great success in the NFL, but I have become a volume player and am not handling the waves of gambling well. I haven't lost like this in football in my life and I think I am just getting to much impulse and tilting.

I think I need to be more discpliple, make LESS plays and make only the ones I really am confident in.

Any advice from a more expierienced gambler DG?

Controlling your emotions is the most crucial aspect for sure. It's tough to do even I can't always do it as I dumped $550 on useless dumb live bets the other night.

Also you gotta think about the money you're betting not just as digital numbers on your screen. You gotta think of how many hours of work that is, I find that helps.

NFL is tough the spreads are always very sharp. I'm okay at football but I almost never bet favorites on the spread just the dogs. I'll also throw together ML parlays with big favorites and I do alright.

Also most of us have biases toward certain teams and that always clouds our judgement. I used to never be able to bet against my Canucks

You really gotta treat it as a job or an investment and do it robotically without emotion and be happy with small, steady profit. After all nothing is better than free money!
