Bruins@Islanders Islanders ML +135
This play has some Value IMO. Boston has been solid of late and they usually take it to the Islanders, but this may be a bit of a let down spot. NYI cant be too happy givng up a 2-0 lead at home and losing 4-2 to carolina. I expect NYI to b up for this game, Capuano will have them ready. Boston on its final game of a 5 game road trip... Hpefully there thinking of home just a little bit. AT +135 NYI worth the price.
Penguins@Panthers Panthers Over 2.5 goals -105
I think the Panthers score tonight. They havnt been tat great of late. Pittsburg has come off a big win against TB in pitt but there D is struggling. I also expect he Panthers to be up for this game a bit more after the Penguins basically walked all over them in Pitt. Goals havnt been a huge issue for florida its there defence. Vokun also let up 6 goals against the flyers at hom the other night. 3 of those goals were awful.
Sabres@Lightning Lightning Over 3 Goals -120
I think this play has a solid chance of atleast pushing. Buffalo.... i dont even know what planet this team is on. All the Talent in the world but there playing like the 96 Senators. Miller has been OK, mostly his defences fault. TB's offense coupled with buffalos Short comings on D should produce goals here.
Jets@Rangers Jets Under 2.5 goals -130
Jets on a final game of a long road trip. They have 4 wins already. NYR is a little banged up but i think they will win a low scoring game here. I think the Jets will play an average game here. Lundquist is back in net for NYR, he knows hes gotta shut the door hard tonight if they want to win. If a lazy Jets team shows up I see maybe 3-1 4-1 NYR tonight.Either way i think NYR wins a under total game.

Flames@Wild Wild Over 2.5 Goals -134
The Wild have been scoring more of late, and making solid scoring chances. The Wild lost a 3-1 game vs the Flames in the Saddle dome, but I see them scoring on Mcdonald today. I watched the game It had that feel like Minn could have dominated the Flames but just missed on there oppertunities. IMO Mcdonald is just an average goalie filling in the hole for kippr right now. I see Minn returning the favor 5-1 here.
Hurricanes@Capitals Capitals -126
This should be a close game but I think Holby is playing better than Ward right now. Washington is a little more rested right now plus they just had back to back games vs NJ. The hurricanes havnt been playin that well since Skinner went down. They were a bit lucky vs NYI. Troy Brauers words should add some fire to the Hurricanes play. Brauer calling Out Semin may have him fired up but sometimes guy like that try to hard when thre pissed off. Im taking the team thats better prepared wich is Wash.

Picks for Feb 27th 2013:
Alright. Todays a new day, theres 5 plays for today. I know I said 2-3 plays but this is less that the 8-9 I usually have, which is way too much. On a bigger Scale day, Ill try to keep it to 4 of my best picks.
Capitals@Flyers Capitals ML +125
The caps visit the flyers. The caps have pulled of 2 wins in a row against really solid teams(Devils,hurricanes) They also beat them with solid goaltending. I think the Caps hav a real chance to mke some noise. Holtby has been fantastic of late. The Flyers are hard for me to back here. There effort at times is lacking and Bryzgalov has not played well at all. Pitt scored 5 on him a few nights back....Florida put 5 up on him, toronto put 4 up the other night. The flyers should be up for this game, but how do you not back the Way hotter goalie here. If Wash loses this game its gonna have to be high scoring IMO.

This is more of an insurance play for the Wash ML. I think Wash is capable of putting up 3 here. like I said above, I have no faith In Bryzgalov, and Wash ibelieve has found there game of late.

The Canadiens have been playin real well of late. They only lost to Ottawa the other night because Bishop was petty much GOD in net lol. Montreal has had to play a real defensive style the last few games an i think it will pay off tonight. The canadiens were spanked by toronto 6-0 there last outing and 2-1 at the beginning of the year. If the Cnadiens play like they did last game against Ottawa, they should have no problem winning this game.
Predators@Ducks Predators +120
I like the Preds in this spot. This is a chance for them to show the Ducks that they can beat them. Rinne has had 2 back to back ugly games and thats why I think Nash is +120 here. The Ducks have been awsome this year but lately they have been sneaking by. They beat columbus 3-2 but columbus had chances. They Beat Colorado but they had to come from behind and they scored a goal that shouldnt have counted with 9 mins left in the game. They could have easily lost that one. They went into LA and were blasted by the Kings in the 3rd period. I still think Nashville gets up for this game and the Duks play it like its another game and come out average. I think Rinne steals this one.
Redwings@Kings Kings over 2.5 goals -129
Ill take my chances with the Over goals here. Bernier has been decent to start te year but he also hasnt faced a potent Det offense. Det could win this game if they gave it there all but this is also a long trip out to LA. I think LA wins but I also like the over goals. The Over 2.5 goals has the better Value. Howard has been farly average of late andth Kings offense has started to click. The kings put up 5 on Fasth the other night. I think a Energized LA unit vs a somewhat tired Det unit should be able to hit 3 goals.

I dont normally post this early, but here we are:
Leafs@Islanders Islanders ML -126
The leafs should be fairly tired for this game, this is there 3rd game in 4 nights and they have played a ton lately. The leafs have played a a few back to backs recently in this stretch of games as well. The Leafs also have a 4 day break coming, they maybe looking forward to that early. This is a chance for NYI to get back to winning on home ICE. There something like 2-9 on home ice. The leafs have one of the best road records in the league. Hmmmm.
