Only one or two more games left! Playoffs are gonna be a disappointment for me betting wise but still looking like a profitable half season at least.
Hope this series goes 7.

this is an unbelievably competitive series...after 21 periods...two teams "separated" by 1 goal (15-14)...
edit: er...make that 15-15 in the 22nd period of play

Well I enjoyed a very successful regular season but a miserable playoffs. Luckily I still ended up a decent amount to keep the profit streak going. Now up to 5 straight years here on SBR I believe
Still feels like a losing season with how bad I did in the playoffs. Anyways here is the overall damage for 2013.
2013 OVERALL RECORD 271-276-17 +$2263
REGULAR SEASON
195-177-8 +$3610
PLAYOFFS 76-99-9 -$1351
Well thought for sure I'd reach my goal of $5000 after that regular season but really failed in the playoffs. Still relatively happy with my overall numbers.
On to baseball for me now. Thanks to all for participating in here this shortened season it was a lot of fun as always.

As a Lightning fan, all I can say is all is right in the world again . Thanks for the thread DG, good luck with Torts next season. Maybe he'll get your boys over the hump; he's a hard ass but he might be just what you guys need. Worked here in Tampa .
Also, thanks for the contest, was fun. Until next year.

Playoffs were a struggle, for sure. I was doing well until the Pens/Bruins series and I bailed on the Blackhawks after they lost home ice in the Finals. Outside of the Sharks/Kings series there were not a whole lot of predictable games.
Off to MLB. Stop by and chat bases anytime.

I am depressed. Did that really just happen? Was I dreaming? Was that real? Are we sure thats real? I am still in shock. Fcuk what an epic collapse. Unbelievable. I am so depressed. Blowing 13pt 2nd half lead g7 nba finals against lakers in 2010 hurt, 2008 Super Bowl hurt... Had a lot of tough memories in Boston but this one is the worst. And I lost $6,300 on it! Fcuk what a bad way to go down. What a bad way to lose 6300. i still get 2300 but shit i lost 4000 on that collapse. Unbelievable. And they had 2-1 series lead. How much do you think shrinks charge I am going to be depressed for long time. This is just unbelievable. Just absolutely unbelievable. Wow. Being a fan can be miserable. It's true what they say. You can't truely love a team until you've suffered with them.

I'm excited mostly just for the post game press interviews
I do think his hard-nosed approach will be good for the Nucks for at least 1-2 seasons. AV was more of a players coach as he seemed to let the players do whatever they want with little restraint. Torts should bring a lot more structure to the team. It's gonna be interesting to see if he tries to implement his trapping system considering Gillis has said many times he prefers offensive hockey.

I was in total shock. I was like here comes another OT but nope. The poor Bruins were so stunned they couldn't even get it together to get a shot on goal after that happened. Definitely painful but all fans need to experience that kind of pain at least once in their lives
I'm a Canucks fan trust me I suffer more than most. Two game 7 cup losses in my time so far
The Bruins might have lost game 7 anyways but that's definitely extra painful for you with all that potential money you were so close to having
