Saturday night 50-point bonus contest: Twins at Yankees

Guess the total bases combined by both lineups (single = 1 base, double = 2 bases, etc). Will use the boxscore at ESPN for official tally. All entries have to be made by 8:30 p.m. ET today, no edited posts, also must have already been entered into the contest and have made at least one play in the contest before today. Good luck.

Winner. By my count looking at the boxscore on ESPN, there were 29 bases combined last night in Game 3 of the ALCS:

14 singles (14 bases)
2 doubles (4 bases)
1 triple (3 bases)
2 homers (8 bases)

Hi Laurin. Total bases has always been a count of bases on hits to calculate slugging percentage. However, thanks for giving me some possible ideas for future bonus contests.

Next one will probably be Tuesday's ALDS Game 5 between the Rays and Rangers. As usual, check here and in the contest chatter for the details.

ALDS Game 5 Bonus Contest - 50 points

Thought I'd get this posted now since some of you will be making your contest selections overnight.

The 50-pt bonus contest for Tuesday, ALDS Game 5, Rangers at Rays: Total number of pitches in the game.

We'll use the ESPN boxscore on Wednesday morning around 6 a.m. ET to determine the winner. One rule is the same as before: Must already be entered in the contest with at least one pick on your record by now. However, one change from previous bonus contests in that the winner will be the closest to the actual number, whether they go over the count or stay under. In case of ties, 30 points will be awarded to each winner whether it's two or 20. Good luck everyone.
