MLB Betting Contest: SBR Octotals®
FAQ & Rules:
1) Who's in charge? My decisions are final. This is the most important rule of the contest.
2) Who's eligible? All SBR points eligible accounts that registered their posting accounts on or before Sept. 1, 2010. This is the second most important rule of the contest. If you don't meet this stipulation, you are still free to register and play along, but you aren't eligible for any point awards.
3) What does it cost to sign up? Nothing. Not one penny or point.
4) What can I win? Contest purse is 1,500 SBR points payable in the following manner:
1st place: 750 points
2nd place: 400 points
3rd place: 250 points
last place: 100 points
My plan is to include up to 500 bonus points based on various occurrences I haven't figured out yet
5): How do I play?
a) Pick MLB betting totals in October games, beginning Oct. 01, 2010 through final World Series Game. There are 45 scheduled regular season games and 24-41 playoff games. Minimum 30 one-unit plays, maximum 60.
b) Winners determined by total units won. In case of ties, points will be split. In case of other things, see rule #1.

The side bar to this contest is we will also be raising points for a donation to an SBR supported charity to be decided by the eventual winner and sam9ball. I will open that portion of the bit with a 250-point donation. If you would like to donate 1-10 points towards this eventual cause when you enter, click the coin below.
