Also shut it down week before and week after All Star Break . It seems teams shut that shit down with break coming up , head not in it and also coming back from break , allow them to get back into the flow of the game before starting back up .

I asked several times at the sportsdatabase google group. They told me that the odds are from vegas. Don't know the exact timing and resource. this is a huge huge flaw.

Ok thanks for your reply, it is a flaw indeed, I think this info is very important, I guess it is not easy (maybe impossible) to find a system that beats Pinnacle odds (closing line).

Data validity and data reliability is the key like everything else. I post the numbers as i see it, but they have no schedule when or how their DB is updated and where the lines are from. There is no harm in trying it. At least with pen and paper.
I have started a topic based on this theory. You can revisit when the season is over.

And as for flipping coins. It is always easy to state something is garbage. I see a logical angle here.
The correlation between previous line and the actual line is high.

These were the lines for yesterday's NBA games, they were accurate at the time they were included. Nevertheless the lines changed a lot, so if you have sports where the lines are changing a lot, this might not be a good idea. I monitor it on pen and paper for now. If it works, good. If not no harm.
