To be fair it was a good draft, but some years guys just drop off, new guys arise, or dudes had great years and aren't repeating that production.
Gza had Jones so my only chance was rivers not shitting the bed, and having charx in there instead of say Woods.
SO many guys have big weeks followed up by duds at wideouts this year is just tough.Comment -

#501I'm pretty deep at wideout with guys with big ceilings , looking for more consistent production at the WR position week to week. Might consider a back as well but those are hard to come byComment -

#502I know I'm not really putting that much stock into what Yahoo! so called experts think. I got lucky that Mahomes fell to me with the 9th pick in the 3rd round I thought he'd be long gone. Of course, I've had good luck with health so far and the same can't be said for other teams. Some other teams are just plain unlucky period like our last place team who has more points than several teams in front of him but no wins to show for it. Sucks but that's fantasy football for you.Comment -

#508Not an option and I think we use the best of the three Yanoo options of Weekly rolling based on record. Other two options are straight record where worst guys would have unlimited first cracks and straight continual rolling where worst guys may never get a chance to improve.Comment -

#512When I finally get a decent spot everything is shit.
Has been for two weeks.
I know people that use a $$$ system LT, where you get like $200 at the beginning of the year and you have to spare it out in bed on waiver-wire guys throughout the year.Comment -

#513FAAB is the only way to go. The more competitive leagues use them, this league is actually pretty keen. Lots of sharp owners here, we should most definitely be using FAABComment -

The FAAB would be awesome. I realized a big mistake I've been making with the waiver wire, but regardless, I can't bid to take a guys back up for a game or two, so a much lower team I'm playing can scalp me and take my handicap because.....idk.
FAAB would be a cool thing to add next year.Comment -

#521And besides, I am not a fan of anything that requires bidding (i.e., FAAB, Auction Leagues) because to me, that requires a skill set beyond the realm of classic fantasy football. I am old school, I have been playing exclusively in leagues with priority waivers for over 30 years.Comment -

With the NFL and injuries these days, guys that had great drafts on paper (A+) have players get hurt, massively fall off, go off the rails and get banned whatever.
When you're constant lingering in the middle/late rounds, you really never get anyone. So essentially you can never improve your team, as where the bottom teams could grab a few new game changers and massively come up.
Waivers on standings is really unfair that way (and resetting every week which makes it even worse). If we could adjust that it would be a middle ground for me.
So if I choose to not go after waivers one week, in anticipation for the number one spot next week if a new/intruiging/back up player emerges.
My two cents.
EDIT: I thought we did continuous last year? Maybe that was Phillys league or the SBR 3?
Anyway this is the best imo. Initially based on draft and then just waiver order depeding on claims.
About Continual Rolling List waiver priority- Managers are ranked from high to low to determine who wins a waiver claim.
- The initial priority rank is determined by the league's draft:
- Live and Autopick Drafts - The last draft position gets 1st rank.
- Offline Drafts - The last to register gets 1st rank.
- Every time a manager's claim is successful, they drop to the bottom of the priority list.
- The priority list is never reset.
