I don’t want to make excuses for the Sharks because St. Louis is a great team but it’s tough to win without three key players in the lineup. I am interested to see what the series price is for the Stanley Cup finals because I think Boston should be a heavy favorite.

The series price at Bookmaker is -165 for the Bruins and +144 for the Blues. Seems like a fair price for Bruins backers but I usually just bet games individually.

Erik Karlsson, Joe Thornton, and Joe Pavelski may have played their last games as Sharks

Hard for me to believe this Blues team is representing the Western Conference in the Finals
Both the Bruins and Blues are dealing with key injuries on defense entering the Stanley Cup final. Which team has the advantage on the blue line?
Not sure about Miller, but everyone else on Boston's blue line ready to go

this is a rematch of the 1970 Stanley Cup Finals, which Boston swept the Blues 4-0 games
NHL structure was two divisions in those days, East and West, with 6 teams in each
Pittsburgh and Philadelphia were in the West Division

Unlike the Blues to go up by 2 goals and lose the game
Probably a good indicator of which team will come out on top as Champions

St. Louis spent too much time in the penalty box in this game. The Bruins will take advantage sooner or later and that's exactly what they did with all the power play opportunities they had tonight.

Boston a little rusty from the long layoff but came on strong in the 2nd and 3rd periods .

Dunn is on the ice smiling, laughing with players, which is a huge improvement over two days ago. These are good developments for him to perhaps get back in. Berube said this AM he'll know more regarding Dunn and Thomas after today's skate. #stlblues

Something came up Saturday where I couldn't even watch the game....but glad I missed it
How the H-E-double hockey sticks do they allow 7 goals on 24 Boston shots?!!?!
Not up to standard of a team in the finals

When a team plays that poorly, you have to wonder if they got bad food, lack of sleep, etc.
It wasn't just the goalie's fault, bad defense is what leads to those type of scores

Chara hit in the mouth with a puck in the second
got stitches and returned to the bench for the third with a full face shield but did not play
expect him back for Game 5

Chara suffered a broken jaw from that puck to the face in the 2nd period.
