All posters on this site should have the same rights. Hitting a high percentage does not make you above the law, nor does it mean you're owed anything when you're voluntarily giving out your picks.

If somebody believes they are a treasure and have immense value to the community and need to be paid for it in one way or another, become a tout.

Ganch is easily the most valuable member on this form IMO, and humble to boot. Everyone, including myself, could learn a lot about common courtesy from him.

Well, prob this thread should expire, but this is the first I've seen it. I visit here now and then, I don't live here.

Perhaps a poster like Pags, bringing in a lot of new viewers, should have his picks posted in a closed thread. No commentary allowed.

Of course, someone could open another thread to bash, but at least it won't be in the main thread of a valued poster/handicapper.

I'm very leery of attempts to censor, even to censor the garbage. What standard does the censor use? Qui bono?

The Internet is a boon for free speech, but also a deadly instrument. The slander that goes on continually, the recent suicide of a young girl in Missouri because a neighbor tricked her on myspace, etc etc etc etc.

But, unlike Hillary Clinton, I don't want to censor the Internet.

nobody needs anyone but themselves in this day and age. you have access to whatever the hell you want...we're almost to the second installment of back to the future II, with aerial highways, flying cars, hoverboards, power laces, and maybe, hopefully, the gray's sports almanac. no one needs any one person to keep them alive.

the thing is people are acting like pags is the dude with the almanac!! dude was good, when i started betting games last year and trying to figure out how to cap them his thread was the first place i went for cfb even before i joined. and as much as people try to flame him, i learned a lot from cocknocker while he was here too in regards to the nba and to a lesser extent wnba. shit happens, people move on, go tout or just decide to leave. this is really nothing new. there are still games to be played and money to be made.
