yea good question on who Gustafsson gets. Bonnar might be the right fight, T. Silva/Nog might be to big a step up at this point

Saw Diabate is fighting some Swedish guy too. Honestly, I'm shocked he didn't retire. Perosh is a like a step above can level. That should have been all she wrote for Diabate's UFC career.

Yes, most likely, ive never been to a UFC event before so im really lookin forward to this. Everyone is hopeful that Gustafsson will be headlining the main event against a bigger name opponent. But the question is who is willing to travel all the way to Sweden?

This is a smaller, unnumbered event held in a small country with only 9 million inhabitants. Maybe not the most attractive venue for a bigger name.

This event is not just great for us, but the whole of Scandinavia. I can imagine that the sport will grow at a furious pace here after the gala. Interest is already high in Sweden, which is also clear, given that we may hold a event at all.

He is fighting Jorgen "The Last Viking" Kruth , former K-1 champ and WMC Super Heavyweight Muay Thai World Champion. He is a more acomplished kickboxer then Diabaté, while the snail eater has much more experience on the MMA scene with 26 fights against Kruths 5.

Both men are old with questionable cardio, and given the nature of both fighters this will most likely be more of a kickboxing match. Loser leaves town type of match.

Sounds like The Swedish guy should win. Full disclosure though, I always pick Diabate to lose. He's ******* terrible IMO. His striking isn't that great anymore, he's very stiff, and he has no ground game. Luiz Cane almost had him knocked out first, despite the fact Cane is always getting Ko'd himself, and that's the win that is keeping him in the UFC.

Would love to see Vera get destroyed, but it does nothing for Gustafsson. At this point, Hamill, Te Huna, and Matyushenko are better wins. Vera was lucky to get by ******* Eliot Marshall.

Always interested in seeing Stephan Bonnar fight a young prospect. Bonnar's been pussying out lately by wrestlefucking his competition, but it shouldn't be good enough versus Gustafsson's takedown defense. Standing, Bonnar has never been finished outside of guts and Gustafsson is a beast. So, let's see how it goes.

Little Nog is a great matchup of two boxers. How would you guys handicap the fight for betting? I couldn't venture a guess. Nog still has something in the tank to my surprise.

Thiago Silva is a tough ass test for Gustafsson, but another great matchup. Thiago pussied out with takedowns against Vera though and got them surprisingly easily. If Thiago's performance really wasn't that enhanced due to the roids or he's cycling better this time, Gustafsson could be in big trouble if Thiago powered him down. Gustafsson has natural balance and functional strength, but the Thiago Silva that got Vera down likely powers Gustafsson down too.

Vera was lucky to get by ******* Eliot Marshall. Always interested in seeing Stephan Bonnar fight a young prospect. Bonnar's been pussying out lately by wrestlefucking his competition, but it shouldn't be good enough versus Gustafsson's takedown defense.
