Parlay (double): Chelsea/Shakhtar Both Teams to Score & Anzhi PK.
Shakhtar beat Chelsea 2-1 at home a couple weeks ago and I expect tonight will have a couple of goals as well. It's been almost a year since Shakhtar last failed to score a goal in any competitive game when they lost 2-0 to Porto in Champ's League last season. Chelsea have conceded in each of their last 6 games and scored plenty of goals. Small play though as it could be tight, especially if John Terry is back for Chelsea in defence. But with Shakhtar's Brazilian flair and Mihiktikyan I just find it hard to imagine them not scoring against any team in the Champion's League. Anzhi meanwhile will be at home against Liverpool in Europa League on Thurs night. According to reports Liverpool will not be taking Luis Suarez and Gerrard with them to Russia so without them the chances of winning are decreased considerably.

I think Juve may go through a spell where they struggle to score as many goals as they have in recent times. We were terrible agaisnt Inter at wknd and sometimes teams do bounce back from a big loss with a big win which is certainly possible against a side like Nordsjaelland so only betting small. But I think it will be 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1

Betting on Europa League can either be a goldmine or lead your to making sucka bets because it's is not taken seriously by some of the bigger clubs involved and teams tend to rest key players due to important league games coming up in following weekend. So consequently keeping stakes smallish for following plays:


Levante +1 A.H. away at Twente @ -140;
IMO Twente's home advantage is being slightly over-valued here even if they are very solid at home. Levante are a legit mid-level Spanish team sitting in top 7 of La Liga. More pertinently they beat Twente 3-0 at home and are taking the Europa League more seriously then some other teams in the big leagues. They are also in good form, aside from losing in the Copa Del Rey to a low level team which was not good (although they rested some key players) they have won 4 and drew 1 out of last 5 games in the league, including beating arch-rivals Valencia 2-0, beating Getafe away 1-0, and drawing 0-0 away at one of the strongest home sides in the league in Sevilla. So I'd not be surprised if they get at least a draw tonight.


Newcastle PK away at Club Brugge @ +103; (PUSH)

Newcastle are one of the aforementioned bigger clubs that aren't taking this cup as seriously as others. Nonetheless, Club Brugge are a club that are in quite a bad patch with 5 losses in a row and sacked their manager a couple days ago. Also, Newcastle will have Tiote and Collocini playing as they are suspended for league game coming up so don't need to be rested. If Newcastle were starting Ba or Cisse up front I'd go bigger on this but they are playing the Ameobi brothers up front so won't be as dangerous.


Neftchi Baku +1 A.H. at home to Rubin Kazan @ -134 (PUSH)

Neftchi players such as Flavio have been saying that this is biggest game of season for them and that they have a "special feeling!" going in to this game. They have only lost 1 out of last 9 home games and that loss was to Inter so no embarrasment there and was expected. They lost 2-1 away Rubin, so I'm thinking worse case scenario at home is they lose by one goal and stake is returned. But I think they can scrape a 1-1 draw or something tonight.


Partizan/Inter Over 2.5 goals @ +110 Partizan score goals at home and need to win this. Inter have been better away from home this season than they have at San Siro and are scoring plenty of goals. Could see Inter winning 2-1.

Great couple of nights...7 wins, 2 pushes and 2 losses and one parlay still pending. Metalist with the third in last min to make it 3-1; Anzhi, Leverkusen and Plzen all got comfortable wins, Levante held out to draw 0-0 against Twente, Galatasary scored 3 goals away at Cluj and Valencia won 4-2. Been offline due to partying last couple days...didnt get a chance to add anymore plays but my tiny play on Gomi at +250 and the parlay hit. Should of gone big on a Mizugaki/Fukuda double as I originally planned to but just didnt pull the trigger due to the high juice on them (higher than I hoped to get anyway).
Not seen any of the fights yet but did just watch the Cung Le KO! WOWWWW...does look like it was in slow motion tho...Franklin's leg kick is slooooooooowww as hell and Cung stays in that defensive stance for like 2 seconds waiting for the kick to land...just looks weird! Parlay: Man City PK, Parma PK, Sparta Prague, & Atletico/Getafe Over 1.5 goals @ +150.


Inter Milan PK @ -155 away at Atalanta;
Inter Milan Over 1,1.5 goals @ -122;

My biggest plays of weekend. I believe the Inter PK line should be closer to -200 to -225 range. They are coming off a big 3-1 win away against best team in league in Juventus and also a 3-1 away at Partizan Belgrade on Thursday night. Inter have scored at least 2 goals in every away game this season expect the 1-0 win away at rivals Milan. Atalanta meanwhile have been inconsistent but are in good form recently after beating Napoli at home 1-0 and beating Sampdoria away from home 2-1 last weekend which is why you can get Inter at +130 to win despite their amazing form (11 wins in a row in Serie A and Europa League). Should bare in mind though that Sampdoria are in a terrible rut, losing 7 games in a row now, and Napoli were without key striker Cavani and are poor away from home in general, but still great wins for Atalanta. Atalanta have lost at home this season though including 1-0 loss to Lazio, and also a 5-1 drubbing to Torino.


Roma Over 1.5,2 goals @ -105 and Over 1.5 goals @ -123 away @ Lazio;

Roma have a very attack minded style with Zeman as coach and even though it is the derby I expect to see goals. Roma should score 2 or 3 and also concede a couple. Expecting a 2-2 draw or 3-2 either way.


Udinese Over 1 goal @ +111 away at Chievo;

Backed Udinese to score over 1 goal last weekend away at Bologna and will do same again today. They've scored at least 1 goal in every away game this season except opening day 0-0 away at Torino. They should be able to score at least 1 away at a struggling Chievo who haven't kept a home clean sheet since opening game of season when they beat Bologna 2-0.


Parma Over 1.5 goals @ -101 at home to Siena;
Siena Over 0.5,1 goal @ +102 away at Parma;

Despite being bottom of the league Siena can score goals, they've scored at least one goal in every away game this season, whilst Parma have conceded at least 1 in every home game. I should of just bet "both teams to score" or Over 2.5 goals but have also added Parma Over 1.5 goals after seeing their quite attack-minded line-up with Marchionni, Amauri, Belfodil and Biabany all playing. Could see a 2-1 or 3-1 win for Parma today.


Levante +1.5 A.H. @ -104 at home to Real Madrid.

Levante are solid at home with 4 wins, 1 draw and 0 losses so far this season (league). Real Madrid meanwhile have 2 wins, 1 draw, 2 losses away from home. Furthermore, Levante have a great home record against Real, winning the last two home matches against them and drawing before that back in 2010 (3 home games in a row against Real without conceding a goal which no other team can say). Real are also without two key forwards in Benzema and Higuain so will be reliant on Ronaldo to do the business tonight. Two main left sided wingbacks are also still out in Marcelo and Fabio Coentrao, as well as midfielder Khedira. Only thing stopping me from going moderate to big on this play is fact that Levante played away from home against Twente on Thursday night and played some first team players. Also, the fact is that this is Real Madrid and even without Higuain and Benzema they could still score goals as long as Ronaldo and Di Maria perform so Levante losing by two or three goals isn't out of the question. I do expect Real to draw or win by one goal though.

ha yeah I was same. I guess it's only just come out in cinemas over here in UK so I might go and see it again. The chemistry between Pena and Gyllenhaal is better than anything I've seen in a movie in a long time. Not seen Looper yet, need to check tht out as well...see it's got a 8/10 rating on IMDB as well (same as End of Watch).

haha they clearly have no taste brother! Never been a fan of him neither but this movie has changed me! Me and my buddy used to joke about Pena as well and his role as "Agent Memphis" in Wahlberg's Shooter, but he's shown he's a legit actor now as well. I was very close to shedding a few tears at the end of the movie!
