#2326i think by going for the takedown,hardy basically said,"no mas".......
his punches were straighter...he was longer....but his punches came up consistently short....probably because he took some hard shots early......and he got hit by a slew of amateurish shots.....
really think hardy should be cut so he can hone his game....he doesn`t land that left hook,and he`s got problems....Comment -

#2336UFC 134 Plays so far:
Parlay: 3.068 units on Schaub/Nogueira to Not Go the Distance at -185 to win 1.658 units;
^^^ (This was originally a double parlay of Rivera/Sakara to not go the distance and Schaub/Nog to not go the distance but obviously now just a single on the latter due to Sakara fight being cancelled);
Parlay: 3.068 units on Woodley (-240), Not Yahya by decision (-1764), & Schaub inside the distance (+130) to win 7.495 units;
Parlay: 3.068 units on F.Griffin by decision (+298), & Schaub/Nogueira to not go the distance (-185) to win 15.741 units;
11.357 units on Barboza at -185 to win 6.139 units;
6.135 units on Pearson/Barboza to go the distance at Evens to win 6.135 units.
Gonna be counting on Schaub TKO/KO big time time in the event. Will be adding plays on Shogun KO of the Night at +500 or better and Schaub KO of the Night at +400 or better. Also looking at plays on P.Thiago and Palhares but they will probably both be -225 at least so will likely be parlay material. Also like Loveland against Jabouin depending on the odds.Comment -

#2337I think many of us had a bad night. I went down 4u myself thanks to poor outings by Sadollah, Oliveira, and Noke.
If it weren't for Bendo, Volkmann, and Cole pulling it off I would have been drinking my sorrows away.
Here's to a better next UFC!Comment -

#2341Hey Vaug. Nice work. Volkmann was my largest selection of the night as well. Sorry that he didn't get the sub but I liked him a lot for Sunday. Sitting in Costa Rica before the SBR Bash so I didn't get maney posts in regarding the fights on Sunday. You better get your azz to the Bash next year so we can talk up some MMA!!
BOL on the next event.Comment -

#2345British kickboxer dies after bout
Wed Aug 17 10:02AM
British kickboxer Mark Fowler has died after a bout in Australia. The 35-year-old, nicknamed 'Sharky', collapsed soon after leaving the ring following a five-round Muay Thai match in the Sydney suburb of Liverpool on Saturday.
He never regained consciousness and died two days later. Police are investigating and will carry out a post mortem to determine the exact cause of death.
The Australia-based martial artist was the New South Wales lightweight champion at Muay Thai, a form of kickboxing in which competitors use fists, feet, knees and elbows.
Andrew Parnham, a trainer at Fowler's gym, paid tribute to his former colleague on the gym's blog.
"Mark was a team mate, a role model, a friend, and a brother to all of us," Parnham wrote.
"May you rest in peace brother."
WBC Muay Thai Asia Pacific president Pamorn Martdee also paid his respects.
"In the ring he was a force to be reckoned with," he said.
"A champion in every sense of the word, a keen sportsman always with a smile, you could just tell he was passionate about Muay Thai and life."Comment
