UFC is not my thing but my contact says Silva KO in 1st round.
He also says Johnson likely to survive into Rd 3 bt not win.
Bets are Silva ML, Under 1.5 Rds, Over 2.5 Rds in Johnson fight
and Barboza ML.

not liking that with Barboza's glass chin...he has been rocked a few times even in the fights he has won..I'm laying off that fight though because i can't seem to win a Michael Johnson fight whether i bet on him or against him.

lol same but Johnson really has been using kicks more and keeping his distance....ho does not go for blood otherwise EB's chin would worry me....he has a lot of heart too...should be a great fight...

some major late steam coming in on johnson and Mir..agreed that the barboza/johnson fight should be a good one, most likely FOTN.

i just placed that prop...crap price, just +200, but it's the only candidate that leaps off the card...i seldom bet these whole-card props, and i know it's a decidedly -ev thing long-term, but the degen-spirit must be indulged occasionally...so i put a halfer on it

The one thing I noticed in Brazil is that the judging is typically scored higher for Jits sub attempts as apposed to lay and pray wrestlers..

So if a Brazilian fighter has an active ground game off his back expect that to score higher then the American wrestler laying on top position whom got the take down..

started something new tonight...a manually-rolled parlay...start with 1u and snowball it with solid plays as we progress thru the card...no fancy "method of victory" stuff...just striaight chalk-eating ML's

the Jorge at -250 furned my 1u into a whopping 1.4u...

which i'll put on Macario ML a few fights down the line...Macario is -410 at everybody's favorite MMA-book...but i'm a major advocate of having as many outs as possible...for non-US'rs this is easier but for you "land of the free-er's" you should certainly hold BOL, one of the BM-fam, Bovada, and Heritage...most of your plays will still get done at 5d, the go-to book for MMA...but every once in a while one of the "extra books" pays for itself with a great price...

i'm not American so i also have Pinny, 365, WillHill, etc...still 5dimes usually best...but not this time...Willy's got him at -350...a huge increase in the payout of 17% over being stuck with 5d's (usually but NOT always the best) price

first leg at -250 turned my 1u into 1.4u...now Macario -350 (thanks, wilhil) trying to turn it into 1.8u

euro-odds are the best for parlays (American-style for almost everything else): just multiply out the decimal odds and you see what 1unit turns into:

jorge-250*macario-350===>1u turns into (1.4*1.2857)u =1.8u

anyhow, just thinkin' out loud...you'll notice that if you roll-your-own parlay manually ('stead of locking yourself unnecessarily into an artificial "open parlay" at one book...frees you up to bargain shop for each sequential leg separately as i've just done here...first leg at dimey, 2nd at willy...etc.)...AND also frees you us to say "enough" when you want...without being locked into more legs
