I'd love to see frenchie's boring a$$ get laid out but it'll never happen. GSP is too tentative....he fights on fight night at 190+ but he won't fight at 185. He's a great athlete but thats lame as hell. Anderson Silva fights guy like Bonnar that outweigh him by 15 pounds or more on fight night but GSP always wants the deck stacked in his favor.

#667Well Stephan Bonnar isn't exactly anywhere near the caliber of Silva. GSP can easily move up and beat a middle ranked middleweight. Silva destroys GSP though, and I think GSP knows this.Comment -

#669My point is Silva will fight much bigger guys and GSP won't. GSP can stay mayor of frenchietown which is prob worth a ton of money so he won't risk his rep vs SpiderComment -

#670I didn't bet the fights but Kampmann and Condit are 2 of my faves....really $hit strategy for both of them tonite imo. Hendricks came in pawing with the right....MK should've known to throw a knee or circle left to get away from the obvious left that was following. He is a notorious slow starter though...was afraid that would happen.
Condit needed to come out pushing forward and attacking too...not let GSP shake off the rust at his own leisure like that.Comment -

#671In terms of resumé, Georges St-Pierre is the most accomplished fighter ever to compete in the sport. In his last six fights, he's utterly dominated four top ten pound-for-pound fighters, and two top ten welterweights, one of whom was top five. Moving up in weight to fight bigger cans isn't as impressive as beating supremely skilled fighters of your own size, I'd say.Comment -

#674Georges St-Pierre is a welterweight who could have made lightweight before he put on his recent muscle, Anderson Silva is a middleweight who could make welterweight. Edgar is a lightweight who could make bantamweight. On a side note, Jones is a lightheavyweight who probably couldn't even make 200 lbs. I think there's weight classes for a reason, I agree with you there, but I think people saying that GSP is too small for Silva so Silva should fight Jones, who is closer in weight, are idiots (you didn't say that, I know, this isn't aimed at you).Comment -

#676Made some money but I'm pissed about 2 things:
1. I maxed out the live line on Lawlor at +500.
That call was pure bull shit. Add slansky bucks to the total.
2. I tried on 2 browsers to bet Garza by decision at +800 in the first round.
BETDSI was really acting up and I had to switch browsers. The shit just
came back in round 2 after the take down. More fawkin' slansky bucks.
So far:
Griggs - LOST (have to say I was shocked)
Maguire - LOST (Underrated Riddle -- overrated Maguire for the 2nd time in a row)
Carmont by decision +300 BETDSI -- WIN (didn't see him finishing Lawlor -- he should of lost though)
Garza -- WIN -- Hominick's spirit has been broken for awhile
Hendricks -- WINComment -

#686In terms of weight, and not reach and height:
Dos Santos: Roughly average.
Jones: Huge.
Silva: Possibly above average, not huge.
St-Pierre: Possibly above average, not huge (tonight, he was massive however, he looks to have put on quite a bit of muscle)
Henderson: Really big, although most of the top lightweights cut, on average and proportionately, significantly more weight than fighters in other division (by my estimation), so it's slightly mitigated.
Aldo: Has a pretty tough cut at times, but when he's in good health, it rarely affects him. He's rarely much bigger than anyone he fights.
Cruz: Again, his cut can be tough at times, but his unbelievable cardio is a testament to how well he handles it and how properly sized he is for the division.
Johnson: Ditto on Cruz.
Jones is the only champion who consistently out-weighs his opponents by a large margin on fight night. Henderson has, also, but that's more due to being matched up with the division's smaller fighters recently.Comment -

BJ Penn TWICE. Matt Serra and his T-rex arms should have always been at 155. TWICE. Sean Sherk is a midget even at 155.
Give me a break. But those fights are ok. But a fight in which Anderson would actually MOVE WEIGHT and meet somewhere in the middle isn't.
Give me a focking break.Comment -

#700I don't really understand the hype behind Hendricks. He lost to Rick Story unanimously, got a lucky punch on Fitch, went to SPLIT decision wins over Pierce and Koscheck, and KO'd Kampmann because Kampmann decided to neglect Hendricks' primary weapon. And yet he's cemented himself as #1 contender? Why is nobody mentioning MacDonald and the fact that Hendricks would get dominated by him? I'd like to see that fight first while GSP fights Silva and if Hendricks can pull that out, THEN he deserves a title shot. Then (provided Hendricks wins), we get Hendricks vs. GSP and Silva vs. Jones in late 2013.Comment
