His tweet still makes no sense. I didn't know this but Tesla expects 40% of it's cars to be sold to China in 2022. Tesla stocks might be falling due to weak numbers to Chinese market. China has the most Bitcoin miners and I'm sure a lot of bitcoin whales in China are the ones buying Tesla. So with that dumb tweet, not only is he making BTC fall but also Tesla stock prices will suffer.

They also want you to report your gambling wins without being able to claim losses, they want you to list all donated property over $500 accurately including the date it was bought, your basis, it’s condition, fmv when donated, oh and they also would like you to donate to the election fund if ur getting a refund lol.

They can say it’s property all they want but it is getting harder and harder for them to support that with so many vendors accepting it as payment.

1. If you have no other sources of income, you can cash out up to $40k/year in crypto tax free. That's right, 0% taxes. This would fit some of us who cashed out their 401K plan and transferred it into crypto. Any other sources of income will have to be subtracted from that $40k number. For example, you get $1500/month in Social Security. $1500 x 12 months = $18k. $18k from $40k = $22K. You can withdraw up to $22K tax free.

This is ideal for the unemployed who stuck everything they had into crypto. I think most of us could get by on $3K+/month (or $40K/year).

They are hoping people will volunteer their money. JMO, but I think they have to smell a pretty big rat to come after you..... I never usually send the IRS anything I don’t get a form on. If I get W2s and other forms from banks and employers, I calculate those, and I use receipts and other things to itemize and deduct. But if I bring income in but don’t get any sort of document or W2 from a company, I’ve never put those in my taxes. If you want me to report it, give me a form and I’ll calculate it in.

Arky's got it, it's a strange game of chicken that is based somewhat (mostly?) on honor system. Only if there are fairly large red flags does something happen, and mostly the flag aspect of it is gross earnings or revenue. And at that, over 1 million.

Greater confiscation attempts are coming before any reset occurs, but mostly there will just be low hanging fruit that they'll make an example out of. That's my best guess.
