It's good news for BTC although adding SOL and XRP to a strategic reserve does take a little from BTC. I'm hoping this isn't a buy the rumor, sell the news situation. If that does happen, we'll just have to wait a little longer for another big jump.

An "America-first strategic reserve" would back solana, a competitor to the more established ethereum, the USDC stablecoin issued by Circle and supported by major crypto exchange Coinbase, and XRP, developed by the company Ripple to facilitate cross border payments, it was reported by the New York Post, citing anonymous sources.

Almost too good to be true all this sudden positive news.

Waiting to see how bad the reaction is first time a leader starts to pull back on the crypto love though.

could be a nice big dip as short term speculators exit.

Poilievre has an 89% chance to be the next Prime Minister. Canada will probably have a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve.

Poilievre’s Bitcoin Advocacy and Potential for ChangePierre Poilievre, the Conservative leader, has long been an advocate for cryptocurrency, especially Bitcoin. Over the years, Poilievre has consistently voiced his support for digital assets, believing that Bitcoin offers Canadians a unique opportunity to protect their wealth against inflation. His pro-Bitcoin stance positions him as a potential champion of crypto-friendly policies should he become Prime Minister.
If Poilievre ascends to power, it could mark the beginning of Canada’s embrace of Bitcoin in a more formal capacity. His support for Bitcoin is rooted in his belief that it can serve as a safe haven for Canadians in the face of inflationary pressures. Poilievre famously argued that Bitcoin would allow citizens to “opt out of inflation” when its price hovered around $40,000. Today, with Bitcoin’s price soaring past $100,000, his argument holds even more weight.

The SIMPLY BITCOIN announcers keep mentioning that "Elections have consequences."

In hindsight I think they're right:
    1) Trump had huge backing by pro-Bitcoin groups. After elected, he knows he owes some favors.
    2) Legislation to start a Bitcoin strategic reserve. Game of front-running begins.
    3) The DEMs look terrible after their anti-Crypto stance. Remember the talk of CBDCs? And Pocahantas Warren looked ridiculous with her Anti-Crypto Army platform.

I have a relative in college that created a bot for day trading those coins on dexscreener. He's included following trades by winning traders, telegram groups, finding tokens before hitting dexscreener, etc. It's only making a tiny profit now but he keeps tweaking it and it's getting better and better.

    Hey, guys. Happy Holidays.

One theme that I'll be watching into 2025. It's all the different parties seeking out Bitcoin!

Trump talked about building a stack of One Million bitcoins. There's some evidence that Biden is selling off coins b4 he exits office, lol. Senator Lummis laid out a schedule of acquiring 200,000 coins per year for each of the next five years.

That's noble. But it's short-sighted. That assumes one could acquire coins as if it's real estate. The # of available coins is going to get tighter and tighter. I don't think 1.00Mill is attainable.

The one guy who is backing up his talk is Saylor. Fkin guy has built a stack of > 420,000 coins. That's > 2% of the all-time supply. He's front-running everybody. And that includes Trump, who is waiting to be sworn in.
