I believe that the R/L & M/L your looking at means that the team bet on was the underdog in each game (Seattle and L.A. Dodgers) and was bet on the +1.5 RL but won outright on the ML. I'm pretty sure that's what Hagball is trying to say but let him confirm that.

Cleveland swept Detroit on May 22-24, making Detroit the play today. As usual, JM is wrong.

What were the bets here? Curious since RL/ ML are both listed next to them? Thanks.
Your question was answered in post #491. When I post the play to be played, it is on the lines at vegasinsider. If it is a run line play then its posted in red but if it wins outright I will put the blue money line in there just for tracking purposes only. Don't want to confuse people but want to provide as much info as possible.

JM must have fixed his post. Here's the email. It's on Detroit now.

Pump up the music and come do your favorite victory dance with me
as we once again cashed in on yet another easy-cake winner with my
indestructible MLB betting system! To truly fathom the mind-
boggling success of a winning run we're on, just consider this:

            - We've won each and every official betting series so far this year

            - We've won each and every unofficial betting series so far this year

            - We've never had to resort to a [C] bet so far on every official series

            - We've never had to resort to a [C] bet so far on every unofficial series

            - We went undefeated in the NBA with my betting system last year

            - We went undefeated in the MLB with my betting system the year before

            - We have now gone 100% undefeated for 3 consecutive years of sports!

            - We're on an unprecedented winning run, with no end to this mind-
blowing streak anywhere in sight! Check out our last 10 system picks:

            5/11 Miami Won [A]
            5/21 Boston Won [A]
            5/24 San Francisco Won [A]
            5/28 Boston Won [A]
            5/28 Toronto Won [A]
            5/28 Philadelphia Won [A]
            5/28 St Louis Won [A]
            6/01 Colorado Won [A]
            6/02 Seattle Won [B]
            6/04 Seattle Won [A]

It's not amazing that we went 10-0 in the last 10 betting series.
What's amazing is that the [A] bet alone cashed in 9 (!!) out of
the last 10 times! The only single time when the [A] bet did not
win was on an unofficial bet (which then easily won on the [B])

James, you have absolutely no idea how filthy stinkin'
rich you're gonna be once this baseball season is over!

The alternate run line is when a team is favored and the posted run line is -1.5. So instead you purchase the alternate run line which would be +1.5. This results in extremely high juice and if it loses it is very costly. A lot of people including myself refuse to use it. It rarely is effective and if it loses on the money line the loss is a lot less damaging. However, Morrison has incorporated this filter into his rules because of some losses in the past and we are posting according to his pdf.

But baseball is killing it this year. Hope all of you have been on these plays. I like this series today also. There was one sweep yesterday. The future play is 08/31 CHC v SFO. GL All

Notes: Still haven't gotten JM's email yet but this series has dropped below the recommended rpi level. What will probably happen is Morrison will send it out as official but if it loses then he will disqualify it. So if you don't feel good about it then now is the time to bail. I do like their chances today and I will be playing it but its your choice. GL All

I guess 7/24 will be the "C" bet.

Notes: The dreaded alternate run line rears its ugly head again. Don't know what to think about this one. I see Brundle has posted the JM email. There is something there to read between the lines. He is NOT calling the play official or unofficial. He originally sent it out as official but now he is leaving the door open to back out. Also he has called today's play a (B) bet. He did this one other time back in 2010 and had the team you were betting on actually finish their series against another team and calling it an easy winner when everybody lost at the (C) bet. This is vintage Morrison. Personally I don't play alternate run lines but you all do what you wish. On a lighter note there are 7 possible sweeps today and all but one of them have series coming up in July. July is loaded with plays. GL All.

P.S. Please note today's play is also a V2 play.

P.P.S. I did send Morrison an email asking him to correct and confirm. We'll see if he responds. He usually doesn't when you take him to task.

Either that or he''ll have it finish up at Cincy on Friday. Back in 2010 in August he had the LA Angels in a series with Baltimore and finished up with a (C) bet against Seattle.

They are up to -120 at vegasinsider. That would qualify them as a moneyline play but you know if it loses by one Morrison will come out with the Alt. runline filter so play it as you wish. The fact that it is a V2 play gives it a little more power but the decision is yours. GL

                                                          V2.0 System UPDATE:
The update here is designed to allow you even more action during the course of the baseball season by increasing your wager on betting opportunities that have an exceptional probability of betting success.
The change to this new v2.0 system is that you want to increase your stake on the [B] level when these 2 criteria are met:
                                                          1. The team you’re betting on is playing at home. 2. The [A] bet that you made resulted in your team losing by 3 or more runs. Similarly, you want to increase your stake on the [C] level when these 2 criteria are met: 1. The team you’re betting on is playing at home. 2. The [B] bet that you made resulted in your team losing by 3 or more runs. Here’s an example of the v2.0 system in action:
During the 2008 MLB baseball season, the Detroit Tigers played the Minnesota Twins on the road from May 2
nd to May 4th and were swept in all 3 games.
                                                          On May 23
rd, they began another 3-game series with the Minnesota twins, this time at home. Since the Detroit Tigers fell within the accepted .015 range of RPI disparity with the Minnesota Twins at the time, the series was good to go for betting.
Yet, on 5/23/08, Detroit lost to Minnesota again on the [A] bet by a score of 4-9. Since Detroit lost by at least 3 runs at the [A] level, and since they’re playing at home, this would make the [B] bet to fall under the criteria for betting in the v2.0 MLB system.
This means that the next day, on May 24
th, you should increase your wagering amount by at least two-fold. So, let’s say that you lost $150 on the [A] bet with Detroit. Instead of betting to win $250 (to attain a $100 profit for the series) as you normally would do, you can double up and bet to win $350 (to attain a $200 profit for the series).
Indeed, the Detroit Tigers came back the next day and completely annihilated Minnesota by their season-record score of 19-3!

MikeyFingers, when I read your post it looks like they have to lose the (A) and (B) bets by 3 or more runs before you ever make a V2 bet and only at the (C) level. I pulled this off of the posted rules on page 4 post #111. It reads a little differently. I do have the printed pdf. at home. I'll pull it out and read it tonight. Let's hope Detroit can hang on today.

My interpretation of the V2 rule comes intoplay here. After losing the A bet, Detroit lost by 3 or more runs on the B betyesterday (9-6). I don't believe they have to lose both the A & B bets by 3or more runs to qualify. Add in the fact that they are @ home fulfills the V2requirements.

Anyway I would never trust anyone especially "John Morrison" with howmuch I bet. I bet enough to cut my losses in half for this Detroit series. There are gonna be so many plays coming up for MLB; no reason to risk too muchon 1 series.

The fact is the system in fact does work MOST OF THE TIME! It will undoubtedlyfail from time to time. Since there are so many plays in MLB you can certainlyprofit each year with proper money management. For example the unofficialseries are fun to play cause they're winning right now but trust me fromexperience they will tank as the season goes on and it will ruin any chance ofmaking a profit.

I found that with some of the high juice plays you can get as much as $2,000 out on a (C) bet just to win a $100 profit. It leaves a real uneasy feeling in your stomach, and after its all over you scratch your head and say wtf! did I just do.
