Dexter's 2012 MLB Plays

Dex I'm curious as to what you do when/if two of your autobets occur in the same game. Say an A1-A3 with an umpire from A4. Do you play both the side and total? I can't imagine that this happens often though right? Always appreciate your insight, keep your head up through this rough patch.

Actually, the incredulity in my tone was geared more toward the notion that being superstitious and a cerebral approach to wagering could not be mutually exclusive. I guess if we have any superstitions then we are unable to understand the variance at play or the "that's the way the cookie crumbles" theory. It was a silly statement he made and I gave it a response that was one word more than it deserved.

A1 can never be on the same game as A2 or A3 (since the WHIP of one of the pitchers is >1.80 or <1.00. I can have side and total on A1 with an A4 umpire. It may have happened a handful of times last year. If i have A3 with an Under A4, i will likely make a 12u play....if i have an A3 with an A4over ump, i have decided to let the 10u ride and not factor in the over ump (that happened once this year, and Holbrook beat A3). Vice Versa with A2 and A4. Thanks Smoove.

sharp attitude, Dex...

patience + discipline ==>grinding (as boring as it sounds)

in contrast, chasing is caused by impatience...and it "usually works" (just like changing lanes without a shoulder check "usually works" and saves you some time while driving)...

but eventually...stabs at "revenge" for previous losses (whether they be "all back at once" martingale stabs...or seemingly-tame-at-first-but-increasingly-wild "line clearing" stabs...or, just as common--convincing ourselves that we are somehow much more "confident" in subsequent plays...whatever)...all revenge-driven campaigns (aka. chasing) eventually fails due to the mathematically-inevitable mother of a losing streak...and it all ends with discipline going out the window...characteristically with a final "all in" stab or set of stabs (which of course oftentimes "works" and "saves us"...but again, if one continues to expect chasing to "work" every time just like "last time"...inevitably, it's just like relying on the side-view mirror for lane changes...and ends the same way)

Any insight to this Dex or just another auto bet? Both Tampa and Toronto are very capable of putting runs on the board. What's holding me back though is this is the first time either pitcher has seen the other team. That definitely plays into the favor of the pitchers here.

nah - i really dont look into games too much (especially now when cold) when i have an auto play. but i would agree that its advanatage pitchers when the offenses have yet to face them. both bullpens have been far from dominant, and with these 2 pitchers going 6 max, the pens should decide the total.

i cant believe what i just watched in the 9th inn of that tigers game - it is beyond amazing whats going on, but i guess i deserve that for going larger then normal on an over.
