I am in the UK and a Soccer odds complier for bet365.

I have recently have a forray in this field of wagering on 1st innings runs - no, with mixed success - it must be said.

I know purely from our Baseball trader at bet365, that the juice is very small of this prop.

If I may sure you my picks for tonights games.

SEA @ LAA - 170 (1x)

OAK @ TEX - 120 (1x)

HOU @ FLA -125 (1x)

Also had a cheeky 3 (.25x) play parlay on these games.

Any thoughts?

how do you go about compiling odds for soccer?

Everything is pretty much automated based of previous games, the form of teams and any extenuating circumstances (player injuries, local derby; etc)

For EPL we generally work to an overround book of 112-114%%. (1st innings runs in Baeball is normally about 103% - sometimes even shorter for Korean Baseball).

There is a team of 5 of us, we price up games and then compaire these prices to what is availble on the bettings exchanges (betfaor, betdaq, WBE etc).

Once this has been confirmed, we realsie the prices.

I'm not sure where you got Col/Was at -145 but that is a horrible number. I think the chances of there being a run in the first inning of that game as well as the Det/KC game are good.
