I said earlier I was folding for the day and not playing. GG was in vegas first night, partying like mad and staying up all night. boon, youve been following greek for a few weeks now, you know how he bets, or atleast id hope you do... you know he woulda picked all the games he lost on today anyday, not just the one day hes in vegas... alot of square bets hit today: red sox, phillies, yankees, etc.... its just variance, youre lucky you didnt play tonight, but it also couldve been a winning night

So if you bet on a good team against a bad team it's a square play?

The Red Sox were actually the underdog against the Jays. Looking around this site and a few others, I saw a ton of people on Toronto.

Likewise, I don't understand how you can say the Red Sox, Yankees, and Phillies were square plays when we played Colorado at -150. Is that not a square play?

Betting against good teams doesn't make you sharp.

square bet isnt always the better team, or the better pitcher... square just refers to a side the public bets heavier on... from the sites and sources i was looking at, even though the red sox were underdogs, more of the public was betting boston... i understand its not all about fading the public, we hit alot of bets today that were square (angels, braves, white sox), and we lost a couple too.... but all i was saying is that gg does play a lot of ugly dogs most ppl dont play, he even says it himself... today was not a good day to bet those ugly dogs, and we lost a few bets because of it... hopefully other days will be different

Keep it up GG......I don't usually tail your picks (as I only like to play 3-5 games a day usually), but I definitely think twice when I research a game and like the opposite side......On the other hand, when my researched pick is the same as yours, it's usually good as gold.....

What's your angle on the Heat bet so large? NBA wants game 7? I think the public will be all over Heat, but who knows
