U know ur calculations r wrong. He either bets 7* or is playing to win 7* but u have it both ways. If he plays 7* on the padres and wins it's +7.7 but on st Louis he should only lose 6 cuz he put up 6. If 1 unit is 100$ padres would have paid 770 and st louis would only lose 600.

9* OAKLAND - 125 = -11.25

7* SD + 110 = +7.7

6* ST LOUIS - 160 = +6

6* TB + 115 = +6.9

6* UNDER 7 ATL / SD = -6.6

6* TOR - 160 = -9.6

I think you're wrong, Joco. I'm pretty sure he bets 7 units if the team is the underdog. If the team he bets on is the favorite, then he would actually bet to win 7. So for your example with the cards, if he lost, he actually would have lost 11.2 units or $1120. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that's how I always thought he was betting and I think it was mentioned in a recent post when someone added all the numbers for him when greekisnotgolden was complaining that the figures were off.

Standard betting protocol in my experience is if you're betting "X" dollars then you're risking X to win "Y" for dogs and risking Y to win X for favs. Y is always greater than or equal to X. Make sense?

yea It makes sense. I jus wasn't down that many units trailing cuz I always risk x units for favs or dogs. so if the fav loses I'm still only down x units for that play n not more. All good tho
