(4/29/11) * (A)
(4/29/11) * (A)
* There is one more game which may qualify, later, that will produce two more plays for today. As of now, it hasn’t qualified, but it probably will. I will post these games when they become official, as to try to avoid any confusion caused by a deleted pick.
**All lines and standings are based on final lines on ScoresandOdds.com. Some of the unofficial plays may change to the other team by game time. Official plays will not change. Do not place any wagers on teams unless the word “official” appears next to the game. Keep checking for updated posts until all games are marked “official”. If your book is offering (+1½) on the (-1½) plays above, buy the alternate line for (-1½).Comment -

#1196I know, last night took me a little longer than usual to compute. Sorry to those who missed the play because of this. But had I rushed and posted earlier, we all would have lost bet. It's better to miss a bet than to lose one. To those of you who bet the wrong team, I apologize for any confusion. I am trying to be clear in my posts, and I am assuming everyone is reading what I type. If you want them listed a different way, I am "all ears". I am honestly trying to get these plays posted as soon as possible, but last night was a great example of why I don't rush to make games official. This will happen on occasion, especially in the closer line games, and a few other situations, but patience is going to be "key" if this system is going to work properly. Thanks everyone for the kind words.Comment -

#1205Better to miss a bet, than to lose one !!! I might start quoting this Wallco if You don`t mind
I took the day of yesterday to host a work party, after the superb Wed with my systems.
So yeah, You might miss one game every now and then or even take time off, just not too frequently to recover from losses should they occur. Not so serious to miss a game now that I have settled right back into labby.
Thanks for everything Wallco
Let`s make this a great season for us and I def can use the summer moneyComment -

#1207Well it peaked at +142 on that book and is at +136 now. It seems it leveling off now on most books. Really my point was not to just jump on it the second you see it go offical. Sometimes you can get better odds waiting.Comment -

#1208It's a sytem because all criteria have to be met to make a play official. The problem is, some of that isn't known until later. I've stated this several times, it's not a cookie cutter system like the rest of them, all plays aren't known in advance. A handicapper I am not, I backtested a list of criteria, got great results, and wait for all criteria to be met before posting a play. If you don't like it , don't do it. It does act like a sytem, because all plays are based on the same criteria, not my mood or feelings whatsoever. That comment is a little ridiculous.Comment -

#1209By all means, I don't post them official to say to bet them that second. I am just saying the pick won't change, and from that point it is up to you to get your best line. Trust me, there is a systematic structure to making these plays which require me to pay attention, not personal handicapping in the least bit. I don't even agree with some of the good backtested results, or should I say, I was surprised by some of them. Had I been handicapping some of these wins, I may have been on the other side, believing what I thought would be true. But the sytem prevailed. Last week for example, every handicapper was on the N.Y Yankees (A) bet, our system said White Sox was the play, and surely enough, it won. I would never deliver that upon you, basing picks off of my beliefs, without telling you that these plays were based off of "my personal opinion". Hagball does, but he does it right, and is very clear that they are "his picks". He may or may not have a system, but he labels them as "his picks". Not to mention, it would be pretty hard to do a six year back test on game handicapping and personal beliefs. Just the data and the team performances in certain situations were used, thus making it a system, with rules, which can be transferred to anyone without any handicapping experience, such as myself. To answer the next question, NO, I can't hand that out yet. Lol.Last edited by Wallco99; 04-29-11, 12:22 PM.Comment -

#1210Sometimes it's based on that. Last night was for a different reason. I wish I could have had that one sooner. But please, NEVER bet a team until it is an official play. Hence, last night.Last edited by Wallco99; 04-29-11, 12:02 PM.Comment -

#1211To further answer, I could do it like JM if you prefer. Put the pick out there and when it loses make some excuse or create a new filter of why it didn't count. Or, I can wait to make sure the criteria didn't change enough to make the other side a play, as I have been doing so far. If JM didn't make some of his plays official so soon and so automatically, we could have made a few more bucks in NBA.Comment -

your system criteria must be very complex to make a game official or not. for example, you had the cubs yesterday but afterwards made arizona official. first....why that game and second, nothing that i know of that occurs during the day other than a pitching change can change a system play unless its handicapped and if it is, youve been very lucky. there is no criteria that can happen during the day making this a system. thats all im saying. you are doing a great job posting your plays and we are all thankfull. keep up the good work.Comment -

#1216obviously if i didnt like it i wouldnt do it. all im saying and this is not to offend you or your system, in the long run people will hate having to wait for the "official" whistle to sound before putting in their bets. most people just dont have the time to keep checking in on you. this also applies to you unless you do this for a living. eventually it will fade away and i suppose that will happen after you get hit with a few losses which you yourself constantly warn everybody that it will happen. and yes wallco99 it will.

Tough sh*t to them and you. Shut-up I'm sick of reading your crap. This is FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Suck it up if you miss a play here and there. All the time I've been on this site I have always been amazed at how empowered everyone feels. Nobody owes anybody anything here. Wallco is pure generosity with sharing this system which you will have to pay for eventually. What do you hope to accomplish with your comments and lame predictions anyhow?Comment -

#1221Hoodini, I don't understand your point. What difference does it make if Wallco's plays are system or not? Will his plays become more scrumptious if they are "system" plays? In your own definition, what is a "system" play? You should just stick with JM's plays since it's a "system". What is JM's "system" record ytd?Comment -

#1222Seriously?! The picks are posted on here for free, or did I somehow end up on a paid for page for free? No I do not think so. What is truly amazing are the people receiving this for free and complaining about any part of it. If the picks were malicious and intended to make you loose money then there would be a case to complain. So since you are not paying for this where do you think you have the position to complain or criticize? If you do not like the system then do not look here for a free hand out. This is gambling and by definition I understand there is a lot of risk and accept that, so should you. So if you want to be in charge and be able to complain then go to a pay service, otherwise shut up and just say thank you for the effort, or if you're so smart start you own site.
Wallco99 - Thank you very much for all you do and I for one will continue to follow along.Comment -
