Czar 5's, I had phil as a pick, but before I took them I awaited till game time and a little contrarian radar warning went off (strange line movements), and then I saw the forums and went with the +1.5...thankyee ole' wise one, yet the night is young, Im happy with a 2 run lead, regardless if game loses, still good value bet....vegas was suckering 80+% of public into betting into lee away at a good value, plus line moved up not down, its like a contrarian alarm went off in my empty abandoned peice of property where I am seeking a tower, i dunno maybe it was just the screams from space-mountain...

Good for you. Contrarian angles and factors don't come easy. Sometimes late line moves in RL as it relates to the ML are factors.

I am proud that some people in this thread are figuring out contrarian plays on their own.

Lights have been on in Uganda now for two hours and earlier this morning i caught a sight of a low flying play, almost below the new super strength radar Pairs installed here a few weeks back. However, it came up on screen as Harang at home to Jurrjens and the Braves as a dog.
Well, i zoomed in and thought i'd seen a mirage but sure enough, Harang at 4-0 is a dog at home with early money on Atlanta.

With all that, and the Angels receiving all the early love at home tonight, i have to bet the A's as a small favourite.

Let's not forget here that take away Weaver's 6-0 and the Angels are just 7-10 on the season. I would have liked McCarthy at a slightly higher price but the bookies must appreciate his pitching going into Anaheim today
