Welcome back, Contrarians you in the direction to the post of yesterday as to some of the contrarian angles considered in an environment where current stats are not plentiful. The big market, my team can't lose mentality, was selected yesterday with the Yankees, to no success.

We go in a similar direction today fading the Cubbies who suffer from a number of issues. Now, I know you guys won't be comfortable taking the Buccos, but the selection philosophy's success is contrarian in nature. Just remember, the Pirates will win 50 games this year, this could be one of them.

Secondly, Toronto at home against the Twins is a game that is blinking red on the contrarian radar. The Twins are heavily touted and are getting positive money on the road with their opening day ace.

BB’s been busy - putting in job apps. Currently pursuing work in the field of late inning relief - as a big league closer. Only 2 days in - potential employment opportunities already developing in Milwaukee, St. Louis, Houston, Detroit, Colorado, Boston and Anaheim.

Might have to consider making 5 inning wagers only the rest of the way. Had the White Sox up 14-0 after 5 and it still got interesting.

Personally - I did not have a play on Pirates/Cubs but I loved Ricky Romero in that spot vs Pavano.
