    ChuteBoxe's MLB Spring Training Tracker
I can't believe it's finally here! I know some people are going to say I'm nuts for betting on spring training, but f*ck em! I normally bet $1000/Unit on regular MLB games, but during the spring I'll be going VERY small until I get the hang of it. I also will not count this with my 2008 MLB record, it's a seperate entity in itself as far as I'm concerned. Anyways, let's play ball!

    Tigers @ Mets

Most of the Mets aren't making the trip. Pelfrey and Church are the only two regulars that should be playing. On top of it, the Tigers are starting Bonderman, and there warm-up game against Fla Southern, they won 17-3. The Mets on the other hand barely tied the University of Michigan. I think the Tigers will try to prove a point in their first spring training game against the shorthanded Mets.

Thanks bud, and don't worry about learning how to cap the MLB. It's simple enough, and you're a very good capper, you should get it down quick.

I'm actually still trying to find a good site this year with all the info I need to properly cap. For this game however, I used a compilation of info from local news (WNBC-4, FOX 5), and info from Jake Thompson.

ChuteBoxe you're throwing money away by not wagering at matchbook... I seldom bet at -110 there on NBA... most of the bets placed are around +100

I have a matchbook acct already bud. I used it a little bit during the NFL, and I use it for the NBA. I still have around $3500 in there after last night. I just have to add more funds (my regular starting MLB roll) come the regular season of baseball. Only reason I haven't been using it for spring training is because the game's mainly start at 1:00PM ET. I leave for work around 6:15AM, and Matchbook doesn't get most lines up until around 9:00AM. Bookmaker and The Greek (I know their lines suck for baseball), conveniently have their lines up around 12:00-1:00AM. If you like Matchbook now though, wait until baseball season. I didn't find them until NFL time last year, but from my research, and opinions from big-time MLB players, this year will be incredible. Big coin to be made in the summer of 08.
