Why are the Rockies -190? I love Bumgarner, Ubaldo is still hit and miss, and the Giants are the better team playing better ball right now.
This line perplexes me.

I think this line is expecting there to be too much onus on the strength of public perception, though it will likely see a good 50-55% of the betting pool on COL run-line.
Mad Bum will be new for the Rockies' line-up.
I think this line is off by about 45-cents considering Ubaldo's performance during the last 6 games.
--- Medium play on SF tomorrow.
Good luck.

Yeah, you'd think it would be around -175 or so.

Mad Bum will not be new for the COL lineup. He started against COL and lost to Cook a month ago.

I was actually expecting -160.
-190 makes me initially want to make a big play on SF. But am I being set up here?
Call me crazy, but I also like TOR at +165 and BAL at +125 on Wednesday.

3 ER in 7 IP, 1 BB, 5 K -- not bad.

Yup, you're right.
My mistake.
That must've escaped my memory, as I was disappointed in watching that outing.

Well SF absolutely torched Ubaldo in COL earlier this year. There's the revenge angle.
COL was playing great baseball and building momentum before today's game. They laid an egg today, but still are playing well overall. Cook just sucks and Sanchez had amazing stuff today.
Mad Bum has been hittable in day game in his brief career.
You have to figure Posey won't be behind the dish tomorrow. Maybe, but day game after a night game it's doubtful even for a young guy. He'll still play 1B but it weakens the SF lineup overall.
I hope SF wins, I can see it and there's definitely extreme value there. I'm not playing it but that's just because I'm too big of a homer and make decisions with my heart when it comes to SF.

Initially, I also like Edwin Jackson at even money to beat Detroit, considering he used to pitch for them and was traded away and he's playing for the better team right now.
With that being said, it is Edwin Jackson, so who knows.

Agree with that, WG, but I feel like it's a setup.

Yeah, Buster might get to rest tomorrow; I'll be looking earnestly in the morning.
I think Uribe will get the call over Renteria tomorrow, and I hope Ishikawa will stick, as he has a solid history against Jimenez.

The Giants are playing bad on the road, yes, but Mr. Jimenez sadly is showing he is still young to handle what he started. Last time he met the Giants he got CRUSHED.

I see Rockies winning by 1 actually.
Vegas overprices the Rockies ML to make everyone take either the Giants ML for value, or Rockies RL get them at a reasonable price.
Still going with SF ML baby!!

I still think he was tipping his pitches at some point, found out about it, and overcompensated in his delivery, thus leading to this streak of wildness.

Certainly if you get it at -130 or so.

I'll say this for you, TG. This Giants team will fight to the end every single game. So even if you're chasing 4 runs in the 6th don't get stressed out!

Vegas knows most people don't play dogs on the RL, man, i'm really feeling Rockies win by 1 now... everyone on the planet would lose except the 10$ bettors who would have just picked Rockies ML no matter what the price.

Bumgarner off to a shaky start here. Meanwhile Jimenez is finally throwing strikes again. I'm on the Giants, but it doesn't look good so far.

I'm not gonna pay the juice for Ubaldo because Giants are playing good ball.
Nevertheless I expect a very low scoring game, good luck.
